i'm from the uk aswell, near bristol i am. how far does the wireless thing travel?

Without any objects or other signals sent out by other objects, it can go up to 40 meters in a straight line. That's only with nothing blocking the signal. One meter is about 3-5 feet.

The average is 10 feet.
 
Hmmm, I'm pretty sure now that this has been released and Emerald on the way. Nintendo will be hosting places for trainers to connect to the Union room right?

I dunno, it hasn't been confirmed but I'm pretty sure of it. I know they are already doing it at all Toys R Us(es). What about tourneys and such. (you always have that chance of someone sneaking in a cheat device.)

I don't care if anyone sneaks in a cheat device because I've got my own. Muwaha~. Long as they don't use some 999 stats thing, I'll be just fine with my illegal set of movesets on my set of Pokemon and their illegal set of EVs.

How often do they do it at Toys R' Us? I think there was one last week but I forgot about it.
 
I'm pretty sure if they hosted a tourney they'd test your game. For possible movesets, etc. I think its a monthly thing at Toys R Us. There's a website somewhere that gives specific dates. I went to a Wizards store during a TCG tourney and there were kids using the Union room. (At Toys R Us mostly younger audience I think. At the Wizards these people were like my age)
 
what do you mean illegal movesets? did you cnage a rom and then flash cart it or something?
 
I used the Pokemon Maker/Calculator to make Pokemon with illegal movesets. Search for All Threads Made by demonchaos916 and look for Simon's Illegal Team.
