Wishes

[Cybex Mewtwo]

I sit in the black of the night
Staring at the stars
Wishing for my one true wish...

A shooting star flew past
I looked in anticipation
My wish has been heard

I lie back down
My eyes begin to tear
I hope it gets through

Hours past
I begin to worry
"Has my wish made it?"

I lean back
A face surprises me
She has come to say something

We lock eyes
I whisper something
My wish was granted after all.

Twin lovers come together
Bathed in the light of the moon and stars
Wishes are a wonderful tool
