I did see a shiny Shuppett but it fainted before I could catch it. (stupid Curse)

All my R/B/Y Pokemon that I traded in turned into shinies. I guess I got lucky.

That is no way. You couldn't get shiny pokemon in R/B/Y, and the pokemon stay set as they are traded. That's like saying you can get shinies in Pal Park from normal pokemon.
