WOBBUFFET.

One dimensional pokes, like Tarous, are trapped. Tarous is just the first word I could think off. He knows all you can do, so you will lose.

& with Wish support, well...good luck.

Every post you make gets me more and more afraid of that freaking thing :0

then again Tauros will take a large chuck of its HP with STAB Choice Band Double-Edge.

Two words...

Focus.

SASH!

You mean Focus Sash Wobby? That's kinda stupid... Wobby never gets OHKO'd anyway. Plus, his entire appeal is switching him in on a Poke at any given moment, so he's definitely gonna take some damage on the way.

With something strong enough, like Hera or Weavile, it's useful.

But the beaty of Wobbuffet is that it can switch out (and it will be REALLY obvious what move they're using) to a nice counter and then you have a free turn to do whatever you want while they flee.

Wobbuffet is BROKEN.

Plenty of things, like Toxic and Taunt, shut down Wobby, but it won't stay in to take that.

PP does not have a butt.

Not when you Shadow Sneak it to death :D

Or this will happen...

It gets hit with Shadow Sneak. You're trapping and are encored into Shadow Sneak. Come out darling DDtar! Set up a DD while Dusknoir runs off!

Come in staraptor or any other normal type and hit what's coming in with a powerful Choice Band attack!

Wobbuffet basically makes predictions for you.

@sims: how is focus sash useful if it has to switch in, take a hit, and is slower? =\

Hey, it's useful for the srtaight up approach, as, well, like I said, the tougher oppostion. Plus, it's very good on predicted switches. Like against Ttar?

Taunt >>>

But yeah, they have the element of surprise on their hands, you never know when the damn thing will pop up and spite you =/

Isnt Lati@s meant to be getting tested for OU aswell ?

Priceless Azelf...Priceless.

Wob's evil with the Shadow Tag trapping, but if you have Dusknoir, just Pain Split it to get back health, burn it, and try to avoid dealing too much damage, say if you run a Restalk set (although it would be rare O_o...) It'd be fun to WoW it, then when you're expected to use Shadow Sneak, just use WoW again. lol that way it can't be switched out without burning something...except fires and Heatran

Except they aren't that stupid.

They'll expect a WoW, for Hera to absorb it.

All it would have to do is switch to my Noir counter.

It will encore you every time though.

I swear that thing is broken. It can also DESTROY SpecsMence after Draco Meteor and just laugh at Mence. Then again SpecsMence deserves it >:0

my opinion: it was about time they made it OU. it only makes sense. the main reason for it before was because shadow tag kept opposing wobbuffets in an annoying stall war, but now that gamefreak fixed that, it's not that hard to take care. people should just get adjusted to running more strategic sets.

oh and the issue with lati@s becoming OU w/o soul dew: NO. they are still challenging to kill and have recover with a great movepool. they don't have any X2 weaknesses and killing them requires some strong physical dragon, ice and dark moves from pokemon that are faster. all the dragons gain a little power, but lati@s carry such a great sp atk and have ice beam. weavile won't ohko them... so yeah.

Like what? What strategic sets can you make? It has no counters. It will hit you at the most unexpected times, *& with Shadow Tag, there is no counters.

Unfortunatly, it is too weak for Ubers.

using substitute is one. carrying taunt on unexpected pokes (who could really use it) is another. using pokes with toxic/WoW and pressure stall is another. looking at pokes who have roar and can use that to their benefit. torment is one that gives you the freedom to hit it with a certain kind of hit without recieving damage from counter/mirror coat and finishing it off before it can use destiny bond.

Seriously, only so many pokes can use those moves effectivley. So unless you are planning on giving it to each of the pokes on your team, your screwed. The biggest problem is not knowing when it will show, resulting in an automatic loss.

Me and you could battle, and I could pull it off at the must unlikely of times.

I'm not saying this to osund pretentious, as I really love Wobby, and I love reflecting moves.

The closest thing to strategic is to throw Mixape in when Wobby kills his first victim- Mixape has a 60% chance of killing Wobby, but it's all dependant on luck.

He may have a 60% chance to kill him on the first shot, but if Wobby has enough health, he will encore you and switch to a counter and your back at square one... If Wobby has low enough health for you to KO, Wobby won't be staying in, in will come there counter without you being encored, or even better yet, a Wish Passer so Wobby can be re-energized to strike again...

I guess it's time to bring out that Wobbuffet that I used when people didn't include rules into battles. He is very deadly, if you know how to use it

Funny thing is, it only uses 3 moves to be so deadly. Odd it doesn't have Magic Coat.
