WonderKing is a 2D, sidescrolling MMORPG that takes players on story-by-story quests, with the goal of defeating the evil army, Zero Force, and their demon leader.

The game lists action combat with double jumping, a pet system, player rooms (similar to player housing), siege warfare PvP, crafting and cooking, and mounts and vehicles among its features.


WonderKing's developers are also adamant that the game is not a "MapleStory" clone, citing the siege warfare, double jumping, and emphasis on traditional MMORPG roles such as tanking among key differences.

If you can look past MapleStory's childish cartoony graphics, there is simply lot this game has to offer. I've played MS before, so I can say with confidence that this game does look very much like Maplestory. However, MS is foaming at the mouth with flaws and broken systems, so I look forward to a game with a similar, simplistic style but void of the problems that make MS unbearable.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to the game for the reason for what you said, but they look much much alike. I was on there website, the game looks fun.

They do look very similar... Though hopefully the community wouldn't become as bad as Maple's was the last time I played.

I play MapleStory and yeah, the community does suck and there are a lot of things that are annoying but it's still fun x3 And there are a few decent people :S
This game is quite similiar, but so is Ghost Online. Whenever a 2d side scrolling mmo comes out, it's instantly compared to MapleStory...I can't think why, Maple is only, probably, the most known 2D Side Scrolling mmo? Meh, this game isn't too much like Maple. At least, I hope it won't turn out to be.

Anywho, I never really liked MS. I played it for a little while and got bored quickly.
I don't know what it is, but for some reason, it didn't interest me.

Never played WK, but I will have a look at it. Again, I don't think I will enjoy it much, but I will give it a chance.
