2nd Gen woooah my game clock is really messed up.... can I fix it?

    Well, I was playing my crystal for about 3 hours today (heh I had nothing to do ^^;; ) and I didnt save that whole time. I set it down on the counter for a second. Now, my GBC is messed up, so sometimes you set it down and it restarts the game to the title menu. And of course, it had done just that when I set it down. so I'd lost 3 hours of game playing. But also, The clock then said it was 9:00 pm sunday, instead of 11:00 AM sunday (which it should have been). So now the time of day is mesed up. What can I do to fix it? (Ive already tried hitting it again; didnt work)
     
    that happens, it's not quartz or anything. there's something you can do to reset it (i think it's up + b + select or something of that manner at the title screen), but you also need a code (which you can find somewhere on the internet).

    i'm sure someone will have more info than me.
     
    oh yeah, that code seems familiar. But I think it is actually severely messed up, because I opened it up again and it days its Wednesday, 3:04 am... 0.o I think I'll just start over, I don't like the time being so severely glitched.
     
    wait! this tells you how! i know it says pokemon GS, but it will probably work with crystal too.

    ugh. unfortunatelly I just looked it up, and the only way to reset the time of crystal is to use a gameshark, which I dont have :( well its too late now, I restarted my game when I found out there are other glitches going on too. Oh well! thanks though every1.
