[PokeCommunity.com] Working harder and harder to create a team that isn't Ninetales weak. (UU RMT)

    Kecleon @ Leftovers
    Sassy Nature ; 240 HP / 16 Atk / 252 SpD
    ^ Magic Coat
Vance sent out his Luna Jynx. Jynx fell asleep. :] Also useful if I can predict a statusing Hypno, Ninetales, Jumpluff, Rapidash, etc. Since every move on this set doesn't depend on speed, I'm not concerned about that.
    ^ Snatch
If I'm predicting a Heal Order, Milk Drink, Recover, Swords/Dragon Dance, or anything of the like, I'm taking it. Snatch absolutely loves anything that doesn't have the Attack to hit Kecleon's (much) lower Defense stat. I can just steal whatever self-beneficial move they were planning on using and keep it for myself.
    ^ Focus Punch
Might need some serious prediction, but works. If I'm predicting a Nasty Plot/Agility/Swords Dance from something with low Defense, I'll just put them out of their misery with my Focus Punch. I haven't done any calcs, but I'm sure it OHKO's some Normal-types in UU.
    ^ Sucker Punch
The least gimmicky move on Kecleon, yet it's still a gamble. If I'm not prediction weak, I can use this to give Rotom and Drifblim bad dreams. The priority is nice, and I'll only use it on things that can't take many hits anyway.
[PokeCommunity.com] Working harder and harder to create a team that isn't Ninetales weak. (UU RMT)

    Golem @ Life Orb
    Adamant Nature ; 252 Atk / 6 Def / 252 Spe
    ^ Rock Polish
Slower than an actual rock? Not anymore. This can get Golem's speed to a respectable level, even though it still won't be able to outspeed Electrode. (Not like it needs to worry about getting walled by Electrode). Anyway, yeah, this thing is nice with Rock Polish.
    ^ Stone Edge
Is this not obvious? If anyone wants to use their suckish Bug Pokemon, now is the time for them to use them. OHKO's a lot of them. Also hurts a Lapras that wants to switch in and be rude. STAB is always nice, and super effective hits are very welcome.
    ^ Earthquake
Muk, Seviper, and other Poisons don't like this, regardless of their Defense. Fire-types like Flareon and Electric-types like Lanturn also won't want to take a STAB Earthquake. I didn't forget about the Aggron, Bastiodon, and Probopass, who, despite their defenses, can't really take an EQ either.
    ^ Explosion
Should've been obvious. Golem's LO Max Attack Adamant Explosion probably OHKO's over half of the metagame, and seriously injures anything that's not a Ghost.

    Glaceon @ Leftovers
    Modest Nature ; 252 HP / 252 SpA / 6 Spe
    ^ Wish
I wish upon a star, and all my health-related wishes come true.
    ^ Fake Tears
Fake Tears is a bit gimmicky, but it gives Hypno and Mantine a bad surprise. Thinking they can still wall Glaceon, they're going to be mortified when Ice Beam takes away a good chunk of their HP. I guess they could just switch out, but they're risking a OHKO/2HKO on whatever they're switching in.
    ^ Hidden Power Fighting
If I ever use this thing in OU, it can outspeed Tyranitar and hit it with HP Fighting. I don't see this team getting much use in OU, though. (I've got Team Shuckmonlee for that). But this thing hurts Absol, Steelix, Aggron, and quite a few others. I just pray nothing figures out my antics early on.
    ^ Ice Beam
With Ice being such a horrible defensive type, an Ice-type without an Ice move is just dumb. This particular Ice Beam hurts Altaria, other fliers, and naughty plants severely.

    Swellow @ Flame Orb
    Jolly Nature ; 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
    ^ Facade
With Guts and STAB, a full-powered Facade has 315 Base Power. Not bad at all. Here, I'm taking advantage of Swellow's nice Speed and decent Attack. Nothing that relies on Status can possibly defeat this thing without taking a beating first.
    ^ Brave Bird
Guts Brave Bird still hurts. Knocks Jumpluff out of the sky and hits Hitmonlee in the eyes. Nothing wants a Brave Bird from Swellow.
    ^ U-Turn
U-Turn out if I need to get away. Duh.
    ^ Pursuit
Kind of gimmicky. I don't want to use it if I'm not predicting a switch-out. If Hypno, Grumpig, Rotom, Drifblim, or Banette try to get away, they've got another thing coming. It also just generally hurts anything that resists Flying/Normal.

    Mr. Mime @ Leftovers
    Calm Nature ; 252 HP / 40 SpD / 216 Spe
    ^Teeter Dance
Hehe, 100% accuracy, and isn't affected by Magic Coat. Teeter Dancing is incredibly annoying, and it may score me some wins just by causing my opponent to throw his or her computer right out the window. If they're too rational or poor to do that, it's still a good strategy to use.
    ^Thunderbolt
I'd put Psychic, but who on Earth would send out a Poison-type to counter this thing? Thunderbolt at least hits Waters and Fliers for super effective damage and gets stopped by much fewer daring resistances.
    ^Thunder Wave
Works with Teeter Dance for Parafusion. I don't think I need to say much else about the wave, honestly.
    ^Substitute
Oh, wow. A 47.5% chance of hitting Mr. Mime in the first place, and then you have to worry about Substitute. Irritating, to say the least.

    Drifblim @ Leftovers
    Modest Nature ; 144 Def / 252 SpA / 60 SpD / 52 Spe
    ^Calm Mind
Gets Drifblim up to a nice SpA, and also puts some well-deserved bulkiness on this Pokemon.
    ^Shadow Ball
An obvious choice because of STAB and coverage.
    ^Thunderbolt
Hurts generally everything that doesn't resist. Not much explanation needed.
    ^Hypnosis
Working towards the end of the game. Late game sleepers are sweepers. Not much wants a Hypnosis if its teammates are all toxified or parafried.
