Working on an Emerald rom hack, suddenly when I open the pokemon screen from the start menu, the game crashes. Any fixes?

I've been working on a rom hack for a few days now and it was working fine up until a few hours ago. Suddenly after changing some things, the game crashes whenever I open the pokemon screen from the start menu. Has anyone ever seen something like this?

The tools I've used are Advance Map 1.92, XSE, Advance trainer, YAPE and I experimented with Item Manager and LSA - complete item editor. I also did some stuff to sprites ages ago, but I don't remember which tools.

Since it was in a working state I've used all of these tools so its really hard to narrow down what happened, but I believe since the pokemon screen is causing a crash, its something to do with the mons themselves. I tested the rom on both VBA and No$GBA since it broke and the issues were consistent with both.

I'm a fool and didn't save any backups either. Would appreciate any help I can get here, if i can fix this that would feel amazing. If not, I might cry lol.

Were you hacking FireRed or Emerald? Perhaps you overwrote critical data with your tools thinking that it's free space.

You've probably ruined some important data. My only suggestion would be to get HexManiacAdvance, open your rom and also a fresh emerald rom, then copy and paste the fresh rom's bytes in the places that might be causing the problem. Look around the party screen areas specifically. This will of course undo whatever alteration you made in that place, but that's inconsequential. Sorry if that doesn't work
