Worth making an X/Y deck now?

    I'm very new to TCG, and I'm wondering if it's worth it to make an X/Y deck now, with Sun/Moon out next year? I've no idea what "format" or whatever, just for casual play mostly.

    If you're just playing casually, it's perfectly fine.

    It's really only when you start wanting to attend leagues and tournaments that it becomes an issue.
