Would Richie make a good co-ordinator?

Ash has given it a go in Sinnoh, I haven't really watched DP so I don't know if he's done well or not. I believe Richie would of been a good co-ordinator, his personality and the various small things he does differantly like stars on his Pokéballs and naming his Pokémon just seems much more like a co-ordinator. Not valid reasons, but differant.

I believe if Richie was introduced when Pokémon Contests were in the series, he'd be a co-ordinator. Plus, he's twice the trainer Ash is.

Would Tara Jayne come back? I know she has a career and all (the defunct "Fridays" on CN).

I think he could definitely pull off the Coordinator shtick, but I think he's more of a Trainer. I just see him too much as the Ash simulacrum. That's a difficult image to top, but look at Jessie -- who knew she'd be a Coordinator?

Ritchie is almost Ash's double. They both enjoy the shere thrill of battling, and are a bit blockheaded in some areas. While Ritchie isn't as bad as Ash, he does have flaws that limit his imagination in excellent tactics in battles that fight to the finish, not battles made for show. So no, I don't think Ritchie would make a good coordinator. I think he would be like Ash and would give it a go, but not with much success.

It is made clear during the debute episode of Richie that he is much like Ash: reckless sometimes when trying to get things done. But he is also a strategist and someone who thinks things twice over before doing something. Atleast, if he is calm. To me, Ritchie is more like a trainer going for Pokemon battle's. Like Ash, perhaps he will participate in a few Pokemon Contests just for fun. But him stop being a battler and become a coordinator? Not very likely if you ask me.

As much as Ritchie has that co-ordinator style, i personally feel that he suits the role as a trianer more. He is Ash's direct double, just smarter XD

Putting stars on PokéBalls isn't that coödinator like.

No it doesn't. Anyone can name Pokémon for fun.

Well, he would get a new outfit if he did enter contests! But think about it, has ever tried to make his Pokémon moves pretty or dramatic?

Ritchie is more of a Trainer then a Coordinator, and even if he did take up contests, he would probably quit soon, IMO.

If Ritchie did enter a contest, I believe it would be through the fun of it rather than competition wise.
