Would you buy in bulk or one by one?

    hi, i started collecting pokemon adventures from last summer through chuang yi publishers from singapore and i've got volumes 8 to 19 in full english. i'm kind of bored with them and decided to sell them on ebay. but the thing is, i'm not sure whether to put them on sale together or one by one.

    if i put them on ebay one by one, i would put them up week by week.
    if i put them up together i would have a one week listing

    which do u peeps think people would be more likely to bid for?

    let me know your views! i'd be soo greatful for ya help! :D

    hm....I would buy them one by one because my collection has holes in them... XD (volume skipper, I am)

    well,wanna ask,chuang yi in singapore sell 1 volumn for how much?thx....
     
    just sell it all to Oni Flygon cauz he misses alot of volumes....
     
    in singapore they sell it for $8.50 or something, but with airmail and insurance, the cost for me of getting each of them was ?8.57. so although the british ? is a stronger currency against the singaporian dollar, it still costs alot, to me anyway.

    i know i would get more by selling individually but i'm thinking of the fans when they buy it, they would have to either cough up loads of cash everyweek or pester their parents/gaurdians and i dont wanna cause any problems.

    wow,its surely expensive in singapore..in malaysia,i bought it for RM5 each..but its hard to find dem,i oni manage to get volumn 1,3 to 7,n 12.mine i dun buy thru airmail or wat...is thru comic shop....btw,if u seel 1 bulk u can get rid of de comic quick n get money,but if u sell 1 by 1,u get to earn more money,but u will getting problem to get rid of de comic all....:)
     
    i'l put it up on ebay as bulk, but i might set a reserve price.... if i wanted to cover my costs then it would be over ?100. which i think would put people off. plus the shipping cost will be quite big since there are 12 books. 8 - 19.... in that case since there is little chance of selling them like that, i'l just have to sell them week by week. which will take almost 3 months! booo hoo :(

    how about i put the bulk set up for 2 days on ebay and set a reserve price. then, if its met i'l sell it, but if not, i'l at least have seen how many people bid onit and then just sell mini bulks. like 8-10 11-13 -14-16 17-19

    imran,let me ask u?ur books all in english?how much u seeling per book?dun count de shipping money...u tell me more detail,maybe i got interest of buying it.....i got cousin in singapore,if i wanna buy,i can ask help from him....besides,u got chinese 1?cause i prefer chinese 1.....
     
    When I sell manga, I post it up one by one, you never know which books each buyer wants. But the cost of posting it up can be understood.

    ^_^ I buy in bulk...because I'm too lazy to make another trip to the Japanese bookstore which is a 15 minute drive away. *lazy* Bought Pokemon Special 1-3 in bulk, then 3-15, then 15-18. o_O

    all the books are in english and it costs me ?8.50 + for each book individually. i havn't set a reserve price so any final bid will be accpeted. if i sold the book individually i would still let the bidders decide how much but the 'buy it now' would be ?8.50. to cover my costs of geting them.

    i dont have a chinese one i'm afraid, maybe you'd be better off with your cousin

    well... the bundle 1 was sold for a total of ?1.99!!! maybe i wont try and sell another bundle again. i should just do it one by one. this is quite amusing actually. LOL

    i'm suprised there was soo little intrest since everyone is going on and on about pokemon adventures being revived by viz ALL the time.

    oh well, i'l post again when i put volume 11 up. sometime in the next week

    Not everybody in PC has access to a credit card, and if they asked their mom, thier Mom would probably be like "Don't be silly, it's just some comic books."
