Would you care if Ash's Pikachu evolved into Raichu?

Hell yes I would! Pikachu has been around since the the Indigo league, so it just wouldn't be right to see him evolve. On top of that, Pikachu is the mascot of the series and as such is one of the biggest reasons why Pokémon sells the way it does. It better never happen!
 
I would care I mean Pikachu is Pikachu. The anime wouldn't be the same. My Pikachu shirt would mean nothing. I really couldn't see Raichu taking Pikachu place.
 
If Pikachu would evolved into Raichu, Ash will be completely different to me, as if he might have a different personality. To my knowledge, I don't think Pikachu will evolve. I bet it's at lvl 100 already on the Best Wishes series. Even if it did, at LEAST I will not hear "PIKACHU, USE THUNDERBOLT!!" That quote is so annoying.

Raichu's better, so I would view it as an improvement. To say Pikachu as it is right now would be stronger than if it were a Raichu, that's such a retarded statement. Evolving increases your stats, whether it's in a game or not. Do you mean when Pikachu fought Lt. Surge's lazy, slow Raichu? It was trained COMPLETELY different.
 
I would welcome it tbh, I've always liked the idea of Ash being with a Raichu.
 
I'm not much of a Pikachu fan, but like other have mentioned the anime wouldn't be the same. I will continue to watch it even if it evolves or not.
