4th Gen Would you have preferred to play as Kris instead of Lyra?

I don't care about Lyra or Kris, cuz most of the times I play as the male character, but if I were a girl I think that I would prefer Lyra. Kris is a non-playable character and I'm fine that she was set to stay that way. She has a little role on the history that couldn't be transfered to Lyra, she is looking for Suicune as long as Lyra is the female playabe character. They're not in the same place, so none of them can replace other.
