    Well after too many failed attempts at making a Pokémon fan game(i was just never happy with them), i have decided to try something different, I'm making a Harry Potter RPG, at the moment i have done all mapping and events up to when Harry meets Hagrid and leaves for Diagon Ally(I have made allot of events up till now allready) and i have started mapping Diagon Ally (it's huge).

    Anyway my reason for posting this is to see if this is a project you would lot would like to follow, because i have see many non-Pokémon fan games come here and they are almost all ignored and i don't wanna spend time making a nice thread for it if no one is interested.
     
    Sounds like a cool idea. I'd love to see more non-Pokemon games around PC. And with a theme like Harry Potter, I'm sure the game would be pretty popular.
     
    I would be interested, I'm a really big Harry Potter Fan, so I would love to play it.
     
    Great, i still want to finish Diagon Ally first so there is a good ammont to show so im going to make a guess that the thread should be up by the end of the week (or begining of next at the latest).

    Oh and one more thing my game is based more on the Books rather than the Movies(the way i should be, right) so for example, it'll be Dobby that gives Harry the Gillyweed not Nevill.
     
    Staying true to the original stories rather than the Hollywood productions is a nice idea. :D
     
    Nice! That's going to be great! I'm a big Harry Potter fan myself, and while I'm watching the new movie that's soon to be in theaters,and reading Harry Potter:The Tales of Beetle the Bard, a new book coming out December 4th, I can also play your game!

    Thanks, one thing though, it's taken just over a week and a half to do what i have done so, im not expecting to release this anytime soon (also charasets and tilesets arn't easy to come by and making them by hand is a long process, which i may have to look into which will mean having to change what i have now).
