2nd Gen Wow my odd egg hatched!

    I know i know i restarted my game, i thought it only hatched into a cleffa or igglybuff so i was suprised to find that mine hatched nto a smoochum!
     
    Mine was an Elekid. I didn't care much for it, except it had Dizzy Punch.
     
    Mine hatched into a shiny Cleffa, with green ears! I only realized that it was shiny after it had been in a box for months, though.
     
    How do you get odd eggs? I want to get one.

    Wait I just remembered I did have an odd egg and it hatched into a shiny Cleffa. And I thought it was special :( Oh well. In that same game I caught a shiny (gold) Caterpie which evolved into a shiny(pink) butterfree. Before anyone says it must be butterfree's girlfriend, Mine is a boy, and I don't think Ash's Butterfree bends that way. :)

    geez well i resarted my game and it hatched into a pichu!
     
    What Pog said, how do you get these odd eggs.
    Are they rare or somthing, or is it from that Pokemon Box thing?
     
    but i thaught that the odd egg was only in chrystal and you get it from the day care people when you first meet them

    I think youre right.In Silver you get Togepi,thats why its called the odd egg.I restarted Crystal once,so the first one was Magby,the second Elekid.
     
    I got a shiny tyrogue too and boy was i surprised!I thought i'd get some sucky guy.........
