WTF Wi-Fi Moments

    I'm sure some of you have had them, I know I have. This thread is for just what the title says, your WTF moments on Wi-Fi(or over the Wireless Adapter/Link Cable). Here's my most recent:

    I was testing out my Rain Dance team in a battle, and it was looking pretty good for me. My opponent(some random person from Serebii)got two Sword's Dance(s) up and attacked my Starmie with his Scizor, I lived it with 7 HP and he called me a cheater and disconnected. I was winning too, lol. I tried explaining to him it wasn't hacked, I gave him the link to the Smogon Starmie site that showed where I had put my EVs, and I listed off my IVs to him, but he didn't believe me. Maybe his Scizor just wasn't that great.

    What stories do you guys have?

    If your thread covers all the generations and is primarily about the games then it belongs in General Pokemon Gaming, so I'll be moving this! :)
     
    The only thing I can think of is when I run into someone who has a team full of shinies. I've always found that kind of cheap . . . whether it's a result of cheating or luck or selective trading or whatever. Plain-coloured Pokémon have plenty of merit. ;-;
     
    My wtf moment for Wi-Fi? The fact that I can never get it to work when I'm in a place with Wi-Fi! :D
     
    My first (and only) random match-up whatchamacallit battle on wi-fi. Biggest WTF moment ever. Even if I was just facing someone else's Pokemon played by an AI, that was way to serious for me. It was like the aura of BATTLE TO THE DEATH radiated through my screen and out of the speakers...

    Never again. Never.

    I know what you mean! ;o; So many shinies sort of makes me sad...

    Must have been a pretty strong one, at least it didn't sweep your team? I've been swept by some of the oddest Pokemon. Lol.
     
    when my staraptor took out a giratina. t'was really surprising.
