Well as the 2009 World Wide Developers Convention wraps up it's preparations I guess I can finally finish my preparations to the event myself. As you might have gleaned from the new look of my blog, I am really looking forward to this years event due to the rumors of Snow Leopard and the new iPhone models and 3.0 software update. this entry is going to be purely a list of what I really want to see during the con. I will be relaying news as the event progresses as well as i will, hopefully, be able to relay during the live broadcast of the opening keynote presented by Phil Schiller.
There have been rumors going around that Steve Jobs might make a formal appearance at WWDC, however his Leave of medical absence is not up until the end of the month, so we will have to see what becomes of that, I do not expect him to make a formal appearance, but he might show up.
Now onto my lists, divided by category.
well that;s my short list so far, If I happen to think of anything I'll update this blog. Also keep watch for my comments and play by play of the Introductory Keynote from Phil Schiller on Monday.

Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard
- I really believe we will see an announcement pertaining to the release date for the OS, perhaps somewhere between July and October.
- we will most likely see the release of the final developers build rumoured to be Build 10A380.
- A demonstration of some of the new features such as:
- Quicktime X
- Chinese handwriting recognition via trackpad]
- the return of the 'Put Back' feature in the trash bin
- & the Improved Dock and Substitutions features
iPhone Generation 3 (iPhone Video?)
- Storage capacity upped to 32GB
- New Matte finish on back instead of smooth and shiny. (this would make sense with matte being less scratch prone and easier to grip)
- iPhone Nano model: will most likely be the 8GB model with less features than the new 16 - 32GB models, most likely candidate for Pay-as-you-go plans.\
- iPhone OS v3.0 to be released roughly the same time as new iPhones hit the market, Rumoured to be July
well that;s my short list so far, If I happen to think of anything I'll update this blog. Also keep watch for my comments and play by play of the Introductory Keynote from Phil Schiller on Monday.
