x – 2x + 1 = ? -- Umm...21?

I'm okay with mathematics, but it can sometime be a bother to me. Algebra I was alright; I passed the year with a B. Geometry seems to be much easier. If I try my best, I know I can hold onto a good A for the whole year.

However, whenever I look at my senior friends' Algebra II math homeworks, all I can do is just stare at it. It's impossible to solve the questions, even they are having a lot of troubles at it. I feel bad for them, but I also feel bad for myself: I'd have to take the course next year. Don't even get me started on Trigonometry or Calculus. Both sound like mathematical death-traps that slowly kills you during the school year.

I use to be good at math, then I got awful at it, and now in Highschool. I'm good at it once more, since my "dream" job requires high marks in the mathematics subject, I have to be good at it.

I dont love Maths, but I like trying to get good grades, as with ALL my subjects. n_n

Maths, English and Science are my three favourite subjects and the ones I fly through. I can say that my Science and English surpass my Mathematical logic but it is still up there in the three. To be quite honest, unlike many other people, I really enjoy algebra since it finally gives me a sense of sophistication; XD - Lol.

x – 2x + 1 = 21
=> - x+1=21
=> -x= 21-1
=> -x = 20
=> x = -20

Tada!
That was easy. :P
I don't really like math, but I manage to get good grades anyway. ._. Math involves a lot of practice which I don't like at all.

I like maths! And I'm good at it! Or should I say, because I'm good at it. Algebra is the best ^_^ I think finding whether you like maths or not is simple. Or you like it, or you don't. But then there are cases where the teachers influences your thoughts about maths, so yeah. If maths didn't exist, it would be harder to show everyone how smart I am :P

Yay 500 posts :P

I was good at math until about junior year of college. Then my enthusiasm for the subject slowly was killed by ridiculously tough classes and ridiculously ineffective professors.

But back in the day, I was the go-to guy when someone had a math question and I had a near obsession with it :)

Maths never was my strongest subject compared to English and Science which both I get higher grades, problem is for Science you need Maths to help you through it so I lacked my full ability in it because of my Maths. It's too much complicated thinking for me is Maths, same with Science so really I don't like them as much as English.

For my age I am good at math, but I hate it.

I am probably the worst person at math ever, hahaha. I hate it and I suck big time at it.

I never did math in grade 12 because it wasn't required to graduate and I didn't need it for Sociology. I had other stuff that worked instead.

My advice...if you hate it and you don't need it...mehhh, who cares...don't do it!

I also never use math. Ever. I'm in 3rd year university and other than me taking Astronomy by accident, hahaha (that's another story...), I haven't had to use it.

The kind of math I do is to see how much my groceries are going to cost. I have yet to use trigonometry outside of high school. LOL

I was good at math before they decided to mix alphabets in it.

So yeah, if math had a face, I'd punch it.

Mathematics is cool. :D I like it and I'm good at it. :D

It's probably one of the subjects I am great at; I usually ignore most of the subjects, but focus on mathematics. :D I'm currently majoring in something that needs good math skills.

Maths isn't exactly one of my better subjects.. If I learn something in Maths, I will remember it and get the work done on the same day I learned it. Fast forward a few months on from that, I'm completely clueless. XD; It's like my mind isn't capable of registering stuff related to Maths... so complicated. >x< I get really bored doing Maths, also.

I'm a semi when It comes to maths. I'm on and off good at it. Sometimes I'll be good at one part of Maths and I'll suck at another ~
