Aqua stayed asleep, though Crimson was starting to return to awareness. She made a sound between a growl and a quiet hiss as she mentally struggled aginst what was left of the tranqulisers, disturbing her slumbering sibling, which woke up a few seconds later, having much more difficulty getting enough coherent thought to make any sound. She watched with fasination as one of crimson's killing claws prepared to do its work on the stretcher she was on. She didn't do well when starteled. at all.

"Relax..." The professor repeated again. Using his mental abilities, not to force them to clam down, but to simply assist them in relaxing. "We mean you no harm. Please, if you could return to your natural forms, it would be much easier for us to heal you both." He said, keeping up with the stretchers, which no longer had anyone pushing them as they neared the gate.

Crimson and Aqua reached an agreement before long after a conversation of chirps and growls, and withem moments two young girls hopped off the stretchers, whole as if they were never shot. Crimson shook her head slightly, saying "I'm going to miss being a killer dinosaur"

Aqua glanced at her slightly, stretching, before saying "Not that you'd be caught alive willing to morph a peaceful herbivore." Either way, Crimson was incredibly wary of the people around her, despite how casual she seemed.

"Neither would I. Personally, raptors are one of my favorite forms, if a bit conspicuous, as you must have noticed." I said, walking up next to the two, but careful not to invade their personal space. The professor had asked me to do my best to show them around the institute, and warned me not to be my usual annoying self. now that they had become human, I looked at them both carefully. They were both very pretty, but the blue one had caught my intrest right away...

"yeah, like you know anything about dinosaurs." Crimson said, studying him carefully. It was clear to the siblings that this was no dinosaur expert. Which, of course, immediatly ment a lowered opinion of him. Aqua couldn't care less about wether he knew about dinosaurs, she mostly cared about if he knew anything about marine animals. of course, at the moment, she was a bit too shy to ask.

"I know a bit about dinosaurs, but not too much, I'll admit." I said, holding up a hand which was exactly the same as the clawed apendage of a Utahraptor "But then again, I study all of the animal kingdom, so that I never run out of ideas. A paticular favorite is the Orca, and other whales though." I said, my body changing back to normal, but my skin becoming black and white in the pattern of an Orca. I honestly wasn't trying to show off, I just did this sort of thing when I talked out of habit when I was around the institute.

"Nice." Aqua said quietly, though having to have Crimson's hand on her shoulder to keep from clinging to him and saying something along the lines of "Do you like manta rays?" Once she thought she could get used to someone, she got clingy. Crimson was thouroughly uninterested. Fine, he could change colors and morph. Didn't mean he knew anything about the animals he was morphing. He'd have to show some REAL dinosaur knowlage to get any respect from her. And virtually nobody had that.

I noticed the skeptical look the girl in red had, and said "I assure you, I'm not a dinosaur expert, but at least I know enough to distunguish Therizinosaurs from a giant turtle. Which the palentologists didn't, I might add." I said casually. I wasn't showing off, honestly. This was just how I was most of the time, one of the reasons I didn't really have any friends at the institute. I thought about saying somehting else, partaining to marine animals, but I decided against it, remembering the professors warning.

Crimson was a bit impressed by his knowlage of dinosaur history, enough for her to lose her grip on Aqua, who immediatly was clinging to him, asking the exact question she had been thinking about, and a bit more, "Do you like Manta Rays? How about sting rays? did you know they were related to sharks?" Crimson rolled her eyes, and looked away. Crimson was anti-social, Aqua was the polar opposite. and nothing could change that.

I noticed what was happpening, and resisted the automatic impulse to change into what came to my mind. "Yes, actually I do like both varieties, despite having an incident with one in Florida. I know about their relationship to sharks as well." I said, too suprised to really do anything. I had expected this girl to be about the same as the red one, who obviously disrespected humanity in general, and was cold about it. I definitely matched the former part of the description, but I tended to accept that most people were idiots, and not hold it against them.

"Cool!" Aqua said, her grip not releasing on him. Crimson shook her head, saying "I'll let you two be alone. Me, I'm outta here." As she turned, and moved towards the exit. There was no point in being here, she concluded. just the fact there was another human around was enough to make her decide there were too many people. She shook her head lightly and brushed her black and red bangs out of her face, then moved on, not looking back.

I looked at the red and black haired girl walking away, and squirmed slightly in the blue girl's grasp. It was my job to be polite, and show them around. An iddea occured to me, remembering the words that passed, and their choice of forms. "You know, we have fossils in the minseum here." I said, hoping to get her attention. The minseum was actually the nickname given to the museum at the institute, it wasn't as large as any public museum, and was mostly for educational purposes for extra credit, but it was still fun. The first nine or ten times, that was.

Crimson stopped short, looking over her shoulder. Her eyes held a demanding look, a "And it's beyond what I've already seen why?" before she finally turned, saying "You've captured my intrest. But, obviously, you must be absoloutly aware a palentologist is not content with just looking... i should hope you have fossils that can be prepared, counted, studied, with a constant flow."

Aqua released her hold now that her main sourse of glee was now gone. she watched Crimson carefully, knowing that when she had her mind wrapped around dinosaurs and fossils, she could get incredibly demanding

"I don't have any of that. The minseum does, but I don't think they'd be averse to some help with what you mentioned." I said, slightly regretting that the blue haired girl had let go. "Plus, it'll also give me a chance to show you the aquarium." I said, this time to the blue haired girl, when I realized I didn't know either of their names. "What do you two call yourselves?" I asked, keeping the tendency for mutants to rename themselves in mind. "I'm Chal, by the way."

"Aqua" The blue sibling immediatly replied, as the other answered, after a few moments of evaluating him to see if he was worthy "Crimson. So where is this... museum that you seem to insist on incorrectly naming." Aqua sighed, and whispered to Chal "Be very careful about her. misname a dinosaur, and you'll be calling down the thunder. Always refer to Tyrannosaurus as that."

"It's because the female Tyrannosaurus is larger then the male, and Tyrannosaurus rex is "tyrant lizard king"" Crimson snapped, having heard that. "And I view that offensive"

I felt it extremely difficult not to make an innapropriate comment, and instead simply nodded, saying "Force of habit, it's called that by almost everyone here. It's just down this hall, I'll show you." I said, leading them to a huge room with several glass displays. "There's the private room with the fossils, tell the african-american in there I sent you, he should let you help out." I said, and turning to Aqua, I said, and this way is the aquarium rooms." I said, pointing at a door on the next wall, which led to a long hallway with glass viewing windows into seperate exhibits.

Considering I had followed everyone else into the institute, I started to pop random questions about marine life. "What about eels, how long are they on average?" I asked, while confusing everyone else about my sudden talkative state. Little did they know about my major fascination with any and all sea creatures, despite my shady personality. Only now did I realise that I'd surprised everyone else with my interest in marine life, I began to hush, walking casually towards the aquarium. I looked around, seeing plenty of interesting creatures... until I saw one particular creature - a lamprey - which made me gasp as a horrible memory of my mother came to mind.

Aqua turned around upon hearing the question about eels, and immediatly started talking "Oooh, what kind of eels? Zebra? Moray? Spotted?" as Crimson already was moving into the room, looking for the one he had mentioned. If it was anything near as good as he claimed it was, then she would be in bliss.

"I can't really remember the specific eels, I'm not in charge of those exhibits. I mostly restrict myself to the marine mammals, you see." I explained, and it was true, besides my like for sharks, and a few crustacians. Inside the door was a typical room, not decorated at all, obviously a workplace, where a young, african american boy was bending over a desk, reading a report. He didn't notice Crimson come in, even though the slight breeze made his bright red hairdo look like it was fire. Of course, the fact was that it really WAS fire, but most people didn't notice that...
