On a slightly unrelated note but still about the friend safari, does the person you add need to own Pokemon X and/or Y for them to appear in the safari? such as if you've got a friend on your friend list who doesn't play Pokemon, would they still have a safari with 2 Pokemon because they're on the list or is the friend safari for friends who also have the game? (if that makes sense)

I believe as long as they have a friend code they don't need the game to have a safari type and as you said you will only be able to see the first 2

Edit: Apparently my safari is Poison with Garbodor, Gloom, and Toxicroak.

How do updates happen? 'Cause I changed my username and now I happen to know my friend Safari Type and first 2 Pokémon (I already send in a request).
