XJ 8,000: A New World
Story
Like the VPP, XJ8K or XJ 8,000 is a massive regional rpg where its not one story, but a bunch of them! In the Pokemon world, about 7,000 years later, Groudon and Kyogre wager. Rayquaza came to stop them but this time, they were too powerful and Rayquaza fled to get help. When Rayquaza came back, she brought an army... all of Mewtwo's clones and even Mewtwo came along with Lugia, Ho-oh, the Titan birds, the Titan beasts, the Titan rocks, and any other legendary in existance.
They battled... they finally defeated the two... but they all were sacrificed and the world was recreated. In result, 6 eggs for every legendary were scattered all over the new world. Although it seemed technology would be lost, it wasn't. Only 1,000 people managed to survive... seemingly a miracle, which it was. With their knowledge still in hand, they reconstructed futuristic cities and regrowth of the human being.
Sadly though, only a few species of Pokemon survived while the rest became extinct with no trail of fossils or anything. Not even ashes. But instead, new species of Pokemon have been created, some representing old extinct ones. Ever since the clashing, no legendary Pokemon were found. About 1,000 years later, in the year 8,000, the humans have become strong once again and the population still hasn't caught up but it's growing quick.

The new news section is up! Also, in this rpg, Pokemon can now have up to 3 elements! Hurrah!
Begining
There is still much of the new world that is still uninhabitated. The three regions, Ruije, Owtry, and Tyriu all have Pokemon training leagues with 10 badges to earn. In the league, you may now hold up to 10 Pokemon, one of them as your starter. Trainers from all over usually will head to Outcast Town to pick up a starter but some head to Seasee Town or Palm Town.
However, their are 8 teams lurking in the shadows. Some of them are heroic and some are discustingly evil. Prof. Oak, Prof. Ivy, and Prof. Birch are Pokemon experts that all trainers will recieve a starter of. These are the choices you may choose. Be aware that there are eggs for every element but some elements have been recreated, some others however, are new.

Techno Egg (A type that is made in Cyberspace by man. A futuristic element.)
Mech Egg (A type that is robotic like. Also very futuristic.)
Fire Egg
Water Egg
Ice Egg
Power Egg (Fusion of the Psychic type.)
Plant Egg (New name for the Grass type.)
Fighting Egg
Poison Egg
Wind Egg (New name and edited version of the Flying type.)

Mineral Egg (Recreation of the Steel type. Has added powers of gold, silver, ect.)

Other Jobs
I am currently looking for XJ8K mods. You can be an rpger and mod if you want or just be a mod. However, there is a Co-Admin spot that is bigger than any Moderator job but only 5 people van be a Co-Admin. I will accept about 10 Moderators for now and all but Elite Mods which can't be suggested must be covered before I accept more mod applications. Anyway, here are the types of mods you can be.
Rule Moderator
You know... make rules for the rpg! Discuss them with me first! Also, you will patroll the XJ8K rpgs and make sure none of the rules are broken. If they are, pm me the username of who did it and what they did and I'll warn em. I know I don't run this board but I can still ban them from my rpg!
Battle Moderator
Your job here will be to referee battles. There are 5 damage types which are 1K, 4K, 8K, 16K, and 32K. 1K is 4% reduction, 4K is 10% reduction, 8K is 20% reduction, 16K is 30% reduction, and 32K is 40% reduction. If the attack is super effective, multiply the reduction by 2. If not very effective, divide by 2.
Also, there are certain defensive techniques people can use in this rpg. They are block, dodge, and absorb. Block is stregnthening the Pokemon to weaken the attack. Dodge is evading the attack which doesn't always work but can divide the reduction by 2. Finally, absorb will take the hit and actually heal the user by half of the reduction percent.
Absorb only works with certain element combos. How experience works is this, Pokemon in the wild can only be found at levels like 5, 10, 15, and so forth but yours can go at any other level. Level determines the experience. So a level 10 Pokemon comes in. it destroyed a lvl 10 opponent therefore making its exp percent go from 100% to 75%.
All levels have a 5 level up and down range. If they are in that range, the percent is lowered a quarter. If its below that range, no experience is earned. If its above that range, half percent goes down. That should be easy enough to understand with a bit of practice.
Team Moderator
Own a team? Then you are a Team Moderator! A Team Moderator can add events to the rpg with my permission! It can help the team or it can worsen the team.
Gym Moderator
Own a gym? Then you are a Gym Moderator! Your job is to run a gym and test the trainers who challenge you. If you win, don't get upset but be glad that they have what it takes. Your purpose is not to be the best gym leader but to help trainers advance.
Elite Moderator
When you get all 10 badges in one region, you become a E Mod of that region. An Elite Mod doesn't do anything realy except play in the rpg. Basically, it lets people know you are a skilled trainer in that region.
Co-Admin
I am only accepting 5 of these total. A Co-Admin helps me with the rpg ideas and events and all that stuff.
