Hi guys. I'm having big trouble with XSE script editing. I'm trying to edit Prof. Oak's movement on my new Pallet Town map. I click the "Open script" option on Advance Map for the need script. I changed only the setdoor, opendoor, closedoor coordinates so they match with the new map,and I changed Oak's movement. But' the problem is that when I click "Open script" again just to check if everything's ok,the movement is completely different. Also, when he starts moving everything ok up unitil there are two tiles left until the lab door. Then,Oak starts walking somewhere else ,and the player goes smowhere else too. It's completely confusing. I'll put the pic and the script in the attachments.

The first script is how I made it,the second one is how it turns out.
The green and blue line show Oak's movement when it's ok,the red line is the malfunction in his movement

Are you sure you put the right movements into xse? And used wait movement and move player properly? Just a question haha

You're editing complete scripts - adding movement bytes increases the length of scripts and can therefore erase information from itself, or nearby (in the ROM) events.

Looking at your image, the red line mimics the start of the blue line - this suggests that there is some kind of loop or repeat caused by the above error. In the future when adding to or changing scripts (or maybe your own) you need to repoint it to free space.
