[Showcase] xxReshiramxx's Gallery Pokemon and Other Stuff

Oh yay! I have to say, I've seen your signature floating about the forums (especially in other trivia) and I always wanted compliment you on it since not many people draw their own signatures, but I didn't know if it was actually yours or not. And now that I can see your other work, it's clear that you did draw it! So neat!

Your drawings are very creative and boldly colored, which is something I like a lot. I really like your Pokemon/YGO fusions too. I wanted to ask if there was a story behind your Latios interpretation, seems like I got my answer! :)

Now, on to a small critique. Since you seem to be using colored pencils, make sure not to be too heavy handed with them. It looks like all of your strokes are in the same direction, and that's a good thing, but if you want to minimize the appearance of pencil strokes, start light and gradually apply pressure to deepen the color. Try coloring in a circular motion too, to help break up the texture.

Your line work is surprisingly nice too, just make sure you don't color over it because it muddies the black. On your Salamance fusion, it looks like you colored directly over the lines on the body/wings. Try to avoid it so that black stands against the other colors and really pops.

Overall, a real treat to look at. Definitely keep updating this, I'd like to see more of those fusions! :)
 
Aw man these are cool! Your style reminds me somewhat of the olden style paintings, which I find really abstract and cool. In terms of fusions, I really like your Salamence one, but all your pieces are cool!

Your head piece could do with more definition in the features of a face, I'd saw jaw-line mostly, but in terms of quality and proportions, it's looking pretty good right now!

I would also love to see you do something with Giratina! I think that would be the perfect legendary for you to do something with, the Pokémon to me seems to fit your style. And Frosslass for a non-legendary. Try those two out :)
