The blog Japanese Blue Sky has revealed that advance the game, which will be revealed by Choir-Choir, is the third game of the fourth generation.

I was hoping for an opal title, since Giratina was named after Girasol or the Fire Opal. So CoroCoro should come right now and confirm this. Heh, Volkner isn't gymleader anymore? And Regigigas Sky Form? How can that thing possibly fly? Eh, I guess it's quite believable, unlike that terribly made announcement posted a few weeks ago. I'll look forward to it.

Me think volkner will be a member of the new "Battle frontier"

Yeah, this seems pretty interesting. I saw that magazine scan a while ago saying a Pokemon Platinum would be released in spring of 09. It was in English, so I'd assume they were referring to the American version of the game, since it is set to release in Sept. in Japan.

It says Volkner's not a leader anymore. He better have a higher spot then, like a Frontier Brain or as an E4. Volkner is a beast. :D

I sure hope this game has more to it like Emerald did with R/S. I eagerly await more news!

To be honest, I'd expect (and want) a GS remake, rather than a beefed-up version of Diamond and Pearl.

I'd call them Platinum and Iridium (Platinum for Silver, Iridium for Gold).

But that's just me.

Besides, D/P has flirted with Johto too much (The Red Gyarados, Jasmine, etc).

now, if they put johto in with sinnoh, would they have to dumb down other things? cuz putting another entire region in with sinnoh, along with 490 odd characters, would the memory take a huge hit or would nintendo have thought of this?

Nintendo acually used 10% memory for D/P and it was huge. Also this thread killed mine. Animanga boy can I be co-founder? I mean we created ours at the same time.
