The game probably fall to the floor or maybe you turn off the game in the when the game was saving or I don't know why?

Well there's your problom if you Are using a rom don't save it like you would on the cartridge save it like this:go to file save game then save it.That way you won't lose data.

As for the problem, you can actually save like normal if you have it set to Flash 128K and Automatic. I think that's how my friend War Raichu said to set it...
Happy Dude, are you talking about a save state? I thought those made it so you couldn't go on after the E4. Gah, it's been too long since I played for fun on an emulator that it's affecting my knowledge of them.

lok,r u playing a rom?when i beat elite four,the same thing happen to me,the credit role....at then it says that data been corrupted,den u try press reset,n u press continue the game instead of start new game,den u wil be able to continue the game....however,when i go to pc to see at my hall of fame,it writes data corrupted...however,u stil can continue play the game,thats when i caught the regis n raquaza.....wel,thats my way...i cant guarantee it works for u XD

I defeated the elite4 on every game(besides blue) and that is not what I got. I even defeated the elite4 more then 2 times on LG and Emerald and that still DIDN'T pop up.Weird.
