Ah well, I think I've discovered the best method really isn't to build from the lead upwards.
Luckily for me, a lot of my favourite pokemon just happen to either be or evolve into real beasts in OU. In the case of Sneasel/Weavile, it's both.
Team Building Process
Well, this is possibly my favourite pokemon at the moment. I looked through the sets, and settled on the Revenge Killer set. However, I chose Life Orb > Choice Band to ease prediction a bit.
_______________
Next, I needed something to take care of major threats to Weavile, such as Scizor and Gyarados. Now, whilst Rotom-H seems obvious, I generally tend to struggle with steel-types, so I chose a Steel Killer Magnezone set. Now Gyarados was still a threat, so I chose Vaporeon, due to its' ability to absorb his STAB Waterfall, and generally avoid major harm from Gyarados' attacks.
_______________
Obviously, I need something to capitalise on the removal of Scizor, etc. Dragonite seems obvious, right? However, I have no Rapid Spin support, and Weavile is already burdening us with a crippling 25% health loss switching in to Stealth Rock. So, Gengar seems obvious. Running a Substitute set means that I can switch out without getting hurt by Pursuit from Scizor and Tyranitar, and switch to either Magnezone or Weavile.
_______________
Now I realised I'd forgotten to get a lead. I also was left with a weakness to enemy Weavile, especially as if they run Brick Break > Low Kick, then it could OHKO mine. Bullet Punch off a lead Metagross which is hopefully still alive and kicking (or punching, in this case) will easily OHKO enemy Weavile, and even if they run Focus Sash, they can't KO me back. Stealth Rock is a vital need too.
_______________
Lead Metagross, sadly, has many problems. Luckily, unless it has Hypnosis,Magnezone can switch in and KO enemy Bronzong with HP Fire. However, I'm weak against Fire-types, so Starmie seems like an obvious choice, also taking care of Hippowdon.
______________
Aragornbird provided many suitable reasons for replacing Gengar with Infernape. Hence, he has been replaced.

Metagross @ Lum Berry
248 HP / 232 Atk / 28 Spe
Adamant
Stealth Rock
Meteor Mash
Bullet Punch
Explosion
*bulbagarden.net image removed*
Starmie @ Leftovers
Natural Cure
Timid
136 HP / 156 Def / 216 Spd
-Surf
-Grass Knot
-Rapid Spin
-Recover
This thing has brilliant coverage, and Recover helps it stay around for longer. HP Grass may look odd, but I don't really have much to stop Swampert, who can obviously be problematic if you don't have a super-effective move.
*bulbagarden.net image removed*
Infernape @ Life Orb
Naive
64 Atk / 252 SpA / 192 Spd
-Fire Blast
-Close Combat
-Grass Knot
-Hidden Power Ice
*bulbagarden.net image removed*
Weavile @ Life Orb
Jolly
40 HP / 252 Atk / 216 Spe
Ice Shard
Pursuit
Low Kick
Night Slash
*bulbagarden.net image removed*
Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Bold
188 HP / 252 Def / 68 Spe
Wish
Protect
Surf
HP Electric
This is my Gyarados counter, hence the lack of Ice Beam. Also provides Wish support, which could help keep Weavile around for more than a couple of turns.

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Magnet Pull
Naive
40 Atk / 252 SpA / 216 Spe
Substitute
Thunderbolt
HP Fire
Explosion
Just went with standard, as it could also kill a ScarfZone if needed.
So, there's the team. Rate away!
