Yes, this is another OU RMT

Ah well, I think I've discovered the best method really isn't to build from the lead upwards.

Luckily for me, a lot of my favourite pokemon just happen to either be or evolve into real beasts in OU. In the case of Sneasel/Weavile, it's both.

Well, this is possibly my favourite pokemon at the moment. I looked through the sets, and settled on the Revenge Killer set. However, I chose Life Orb > Choice Band to ease prediction a bit.

Next, I needed something to take care of major threats to Weavile, such as Scizor and Gyarados. Now, whilst Rotom-H seems obvious, I generally tend to struggle with steel-types, so I chose a Steel Killer Magnezone set. Now Gyarados was still a threat, so I chose Vaporeon, due to its' ability to absorb his STAB Waterfall, and generally avoid major harm from Gyarados' attacks.

Obviously, I need something to capitalise on the removal of Scizor, etc. Dragonite seems obvious, right? However, I have no Rapid Spin support, and Weavile is already burdening us with a crippling 25% health loss switching in to Stealth Rock. So, Gengar seems obvious. Running a Substitute set means that I can switch out without getting hurt by Pursuit from Scizor and Tyranitar, and switch to either Magnezone or Weavile.

Now I realised I'd forgotten to get a lead. I also was left with a weakness to enemy Weavile, especially as if they run Brick Break > Low Kick, then it could OHKO mine. Bullet Punch off a lead Metagross which is hopefully still alive and kicking (or punching, in this case) will easily OHKO enemy Weavile, and even if they run Focus Sash, they can't KO me back. Stealth Rock is a vital need too.

Lead Metagross, sadly, has many problems. Luckily, unless it has Hypnosis,Magnezone can switch in and KO enemy Bronzong with HP Fire. However, I'm weak against Fire-types, so Starmie seems like an obvious choice, also taking care of Hippowdon.

Aragornbird provided many suitable reasons for replacing Gengar with Infernape. Hence, he has been replaced.

    Metagross @ Lum Berry
    248 HP / 232 Atk / 28 Spe
    Adamant

    Stealth Rock
    Meteor Mash
    Bullet Punch
    Explosion

    *bulbagarden.net image removed*
    Starmie @ Leftovers
    Natural Cure
    Timid
    136 HP / 156 Def / 216 Spd

    -Surf
    -Grass Knot
    -Rapid Spin
    -Recover

This thing has brilliant coverage, and Recover helps it stay around for longer. HP Grass may look odd, but I don't really have much to stop Swampert, who can obviously be problematic if you don't have a super-effective move.

    *bulbagarden.net image removed*
    Infernape @ Life Orb
    Naive
    64 Atk / 252 SpA / 192 Spd

    -Fire Blast
    -Close Combat
    -Grass Knot
    -Hidden Power Ice

    *bulbagarden.net image removed*
    Weavile @ Life Orb
    Jolly
    40 HP / 252 Atk / 216 Spe

    Ice Shard
    Pursuit
    Low Kick
    Night Slash

    *bulbagarden.net image removed*
    Vaporeon @ Leftovers
    Bold
    188 HP / 252 Def / 68 Spe

    Wish
    Protect
    Surf
    HP Electric

This is my Gyarados counter, hence the lack of Ice Beam. Also provides Wish support, which could help keep Weavile around for more than a couple of turns.

    *bulbagarden.net image removed*
    Magnezone @ Leftovers
    Magnet Pull
    Naive
    40 Atk / 252 SpA / 216 Spe

    Substitute
    Thunderbolt
    HP Fire
    Explosion

Just went with standard, as it could also kill a ScarfZone if needed.

So, there's the team. Rate away!

    STARMIE
Using HP Grass is pretty retarded when it can learn Grass Knot.

    WEAVILE
What's the point of using both Brick Break and Low Kick? It's not like opponent Weaviles are immune to Low Kick. It will still have 60 BP against them, which translates to 240 BP due to the 4x Fighting weakness.
Low Kick is pretty much always better since most OU opponents are big and heavy. Use Night Slash over Brick Break.

Besides that, your team looks alright although Skarmory + Blissey shuts you down pretty quickly, especially if Skarmory has Shed Shell. None of your special attackers can get past Blissey and your physical sweepers can't do much to Skarmory.

You need a mixed sweeper somewhere on this team.

    Replace Gengar with Infernape:

    Infernape @Life Orb
    Naive Nature
    64 Atk / 252 SpA / 192 Spd

    -Fire Blast
    -Close Combat
    -Grass Knot
    -Hidden Power Ice

I would also change Starmie to the Rapid Spinner set so it can get rid of the Stealth Rocks that Weavile has trouble with.

    Starmie @Leftovers
    Timid Nature
    Natural Cure
    136 HP / 156 Def / 216 Spd

    -Surf
    -Grass Knot
    -Rapid Spin
    -Recover

Being more defensive lets you handle Swampert better.

    Cool.

Can't believe I forgot about Grass Knot.....

    Infernape is beastly.
Although...Gengar is a great lure for Scizor/Tyranitar. Are you sure there's nothing else I could replace it with?

Yeah, I'll implement those changes. Thanks for the help!

You don't need to lure Tyranitar. Low Kick OHKOs Tyranitar easily and Weavile outspeeds Jolly ScarfTar.
And Weavile itself is a lure for Scizor even more than Gengar is, because it can't learn Fire attacks.

    Cool.

I suppose the only problem I have is the possibility of switching Magnezone into a Choice Band Superpower :(
