Well, i am making yet another art thread, anyway, this is going to be more of a rolling art thread, than posting it all at once, I will post them here as they are done, anyway, I am just doing it to see if I actually get any feedback, usually I get a couple of replies and that's it, anyways. To the art.

Okay first things first, all pics I will post here, have been drawn on paper and coloured in Photoshop, because I am really bad at drawing on the computer and I don't have a tablet either.

Anyway, the first one isn't really that old, it is of Daichi from Beyblade G-Revolution. If people know Beyblade, then you will know that this character is quite small, anyways.

^ This is the lineart, as you can see it was scanned and had been drawn on paper. They usually take me around 20 minutes to do.

^ This is what it looks like finished, after I have coloured and shaded it on Photoshop, the colouring can take from an hour and up, I don't really tend to keep time on this.

Okay, take no notice of the background, it's plain, but I was focusing on the person and not the BG, plus I don't have much of an imagination when it comes to these things. ^^:

And if you wonder, the name of who it is by, is mine, and was my old name at this forum.

Anyway, please give me some C&C

Hi Renji! :D These are some pretty nice pics you've got here! ^^ It was interesting to see both the lineart and the coloured version! :) I like your colouring, and your lineart is clean, which is good! :D I think that sometimes the lineart looks a bit shaky and so does the shading - sometimes the shading seems to eat over the outlines a little. I'd recommend using one layer for the transparent outline and one for the colour - this way you can avoid that! ^^

Keep up the good work! *hugs!*

    ^ Gotta love that method.

    Anyway, cool pic.

I like how it looks almost exaclty like from the Animanga. (Excluding coloring)

    Keep it up.

The lineart was pretty nice, but Wow, the Photoshop colored one is really well done (especially when you're just using a mouse)! It's okay not to have a fancy background. In fact, drawings whose only purpose is to show a character do better with just a plain background.

Thanks ^^. Well, that is the only thing I am good at with a mouse and that is colouring in, if I try drawing using it, I am useless, that's why I draw then scan it ^^:

Lol Kai as a Pokemon trainer. I like the background too, it looks like a setting sun AND a PokeBall at the same time.
Pretty good, except the linework is still kind of messy and the coloring looks rushed, like I can see some areas where the colors go outside of the lines.
Here's how to check for that: Make a new background layer and fill in with a solid black. If you colored outside the edges, all those colors will now appear brighter than before. Then you can easily fix them by erasing them until they're inside the lines again.
Of course, this doesn't work well if you used lots of black in your actual coloring. You'll just have to pick another color instead.

    Heh, nice sketch =O

Kai as a Pokémon Trainer... cool, but the glasses... erm... *cough* kind of like that doesn't fits Kai *shot'd* x.x

Dude, don't say that the hair sucks. It looks really good o.o

Since arround here i cannot see Beyblade anymore, i don't know how to make other's character's hair, but... you're way better than me o.o
