*still remains firmly convinced that it is extremely dumb to not allow the artist to bump his/her own art thread instead of clogging up the forum with new ones*

Well, anyway. Since I must showcase four sprites, I must repost some of what I've already posted in my previous threads, so I'll pick a couple of random slightly older sprites:

    (Palkia pixel-over, Dialga pixel-over, Butterfree pixel-over)

And now for the sprite I actually intended to post, which is a yet unnamed Grass starter that will evolve into Grass/Flying types which I may or may not sprite one day. It, like in fact most of my attempts at scratch sprites (such as this), came out much smaller than I intended, but I assure you that it looks adorable if you magnify it. I may try to mess with it to make it a little bigger.

    So um, yeah.

Wow, DF! Haven't seen you since TCoD.

I always love your pixel-overs, but you do need to make that little guy bigger. He looks like he's smaller than...PICHU...gasp.

I made it slightly bigger (i.e. by a couple of pixels). And in fact I made an evolution too, after all.

The little dark spots on the first stage's breast are really seeds which sprout and dig their roots into the bird's body, the bird providing nutrition and water for the tree in exchange for the ability to fly which the tree gives it. Of course, it can move the tree-wings in some mysterious Pokémony ways.

Yes, I know it's one hell of a lot bigger than the first stage.

Nice work! Though tiny, your grass starter is adorable! I love the evolution too! In my opinion, all they're missing is the final stage and names! ^^
