I am a bit of a newbie to actual Yu-Gi-Oh dueling, so I'd like some advice for this deck. This may have a few banned or restricted cards, however this is more meant for casual play rather than official play. This deck is primarly darkness based with a few dragons thrown in here and there for good offence and tributes.

    Total Cards: 55

    Monsters: 29

    1x Vampire Lord
    1x Vampire Genesis
    1x Vampire Lady
    1x Spirit Reaper
    1x Double Coston
    1x Despair from the Dark
    1x Fear from the Dark
    1x Swarm of Scarabs
    2x Regenerating Mummy
    2x Pyramid Turtle
    1x Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower
    1x Vanity's Fiend
    1x Giant Rat
    1x Dark Dust Spirit
    1x Pitch-Black Warwolf
    2x Luster Dragon
    1x Red-Eyes Black Chick
    1x Red-Eyes Black Dragon
    1x Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon
    1x Armed Dragon Lv. 3
    1x Armed Dragon Lv. 5
    1x Master Kyonshee
    1x Dark Magician
    1x Ryu Kokki
    1x Zombrya The Dark
    1x Dark Blade

    Traps: 10

    2x Sakuretsu Armor
    1x Rageki Break
    1x Robbin' Golbin
    1x Dust Tornado
    1x Trap Hole
    1x Ceasefire
1x Seven Tools of the Bandit
    1x Ordeal of a Traveler
    1x Compulsory Evacuation Device

    Spells: 16

    1x Pot of Greed
    1x Creature Swap
    1x Nobleman of Crossout
    1x Reload
    1x Heavy Storm
    2x Book of Life
    1x Premature Burial
    1x Call of the Mummy
1x Poison of the Old Man
    1x Monster Recovery
    1x Hammer Shot
    1x Swords of Revealing Light
    1x Autonomous Action Unit
    1x Magical Mallet
    1x Soul Reversal

If I do have a good deck, which ones should I move into my side-deck?

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Waaaay too many cards here. You should really cut deck size down to 40 unless you've got some kind of heavy deck-thinners like gadgets or Thunder Dragons. Second, Pot of Greed is banned according to the list, so that shouldn't be in there. Third, your cards are all over the place and your 'theme' is far too vague. Focus on doing a single thing and doing it well. For Darkness and Dragon combo, it would probably be Cyberdark monsters + Dragons, the archetype of which was posted here. A lot of your cards are extremely situational Think of it as probability, how high is the chance of you getting both Red Eyes B. Chick, and Red Eyes Black Dragon when you have 55 cards in your deck? Furthermore, what are the odds of it surviving long enough for you to draw into Darkness Dragon (which will otherwise become a dead draw)? Let me answer that for you: it's not very likely. Also, Master Kyonshee is a pointless monster (Wimpy Zombie with no special ability and subpar stats) which is completely overshadowed by Ryu Kokki (If you were thinking of pulling it out with Pyramid Turtle). Dark Magician is a complete slap-on and really isn't doing anything for you (For two tributes you could get far better) and Fear from the Dark and Despair from the dark are pointless and situational because, let's face it, Darkworld does this so much better. Plus, discarding isn't too popular because of the afforementioned set of cards so those will most likely be clogging your hand, same for Regenerating Mummy.

Furthermore, zombies rely largely on special summons, so running Vanity's Fiend is just plain silly because it completely screws their powers over. Really, what were you thinking with that? Bone Tower is also pointless because it is not only very vulnerable to attack, but the deck thinning it provides is liable to help your opponent gather up a graveyard of tribute fodder for Game Overdragon or to be removed by Phoenix Blade for a Dimension Fusion or Return with which to wipe you out. Vampire Genesis with only one Vampire Lord is also a waste, plain and simple. Again, overly situational and just a dead draw most of the time. Vampire Lady isn't too appealing either since it's so frail that even Hydrogeddon will run it over and - as mentioned before - a lot of the machocist decks nowadays actually enjoy having their cards discarded.

So, just at a glance I'd say drop these:

    -1 Vampire Genesis
    -1 Vampire Lady
    -1 Dark Magician
    -1 Master Kyonshee
    -1 Double Coston
    -1 Vanity's Fiend
    -1 Soul-absorbing Bone Tower
    -1 Fear From the Dark
    -1 Despair From the Dark
-1 Giant Rat (Not really worth having a recruiter for the recruiter, especially since monster removal is all the rage)
-1 Swarm of Scarabs (ain't gonna' survive to get its effect)
    -1 Dark Blade
-1 Pot of Greed (Say no to banned cards)
-1 Reload (-1 cards in hand is not very appealing)
    -2 Luster Dragon
    -1 Trap Hole
-1 Magical Mallet (Again, -1 cards isn't worth it unless you have a killer combo to fish for)
-1 Poison of the Old Man (This isn't a burn deck :\)
-1 Call of the Mummy (not enough Zombies to warrant it)
-1 Autonomous Action Unit (Too expensive >.<)
-1 Hammer Shot (More like Smashing Ground, please, you've got high-Atk monsters who'll just turn this card against you)
-1 Monster Recovery (Again, not really a worthwhile trade-off since you lose field presence)
-1 Soul Reversal (WTF? You don't even have flip monsters <.<)

And those would be the dead weight. 25 cards in all, so now we're down to 30. Furthermore, zombies and dragons don't really play well together, so I'd suggest dropping the zombies for cyberdark monsters (to stay true to your vague 'theme'). So, cutting out the remaining zombies and their support cards:

    -1 Vampire Lord
    -1 Ryu Kokki
    -2 Pyramid Turtle
    -2 Book of Life
    -1 Creature Swap
    -1 Spirit Reaper

Now reduced to 22. Finally, just cutting out the cards that don't play well with Cyberdark:

-1 Compulsory Evacuation Device (This isn't really a bounce strategy)
-1 Raigeki Break (No real prospect of providing discard fodder)
    -1 Zombyra the Dark
    -1 Pitch Black Warwolf
    -1 Ordeal of a Traveler
-1 Seven Tools of the Bandit
-1 Robbin' Goblin (A bit too risky)
    -1 Red Eyes Black Chick
    -1 Red Eyes Black Dragon
    -1 Red Eyes Darkness Dragon

Now then, to fill up the open slots:

    +2 Cyberdark Horn
    +1 Cyberdark Edge
    +1 Twin-headed Behemoth
    +3 Masked Dragon
    +1 Armed Dragon Level 3
    +1 Armed Dragon Level 5
    +2 Armed Dragon Level 7
+1 Future Fusion (Yay dumping =D)
    +1 Dragon's Mirror
    +1 Five-headed Dragon
    +1 Mirror Force/Widespread Ruin
    +1 Mystical Space Typhoon
    +1 Stamping Destruction
    +1 Card Destruction
    +2 Smashing Ground
    +2 Enemy Controller
    +1 Sangan
    +1 D.D. Warrior Lady
    +3 Cyber Dragon
    +1 Torrential Tribute
    +1 Snatch Steal
    +1 Ring of Destruction

Whew, I think that's the best I can do with this thing. So yeah, basically it's a major makeover but it should be an improvement. That should be four cards unless I miscounted somewhere. :3 So basically, the gist of this deck is to dump a load of dragons in your graveyard which will then be swiped up and used by the Cyberdark monsters to provide a stream of 2000+ Atk beatsticks with which to maul your opponent. Five-headed can be tough to obtain, but it really kicks butt and is a great game ender. The rest is mostly standard issue dumping, trap removal, and controlling cards.

5 Cyberdarks is overkill though, since they all need lvl 3 dragons which this deck only got a couple of. Take down Cyberdark monsters until you have either 2 or 3 (most people take 2 trampling Cyberdark, and a few adds one direct attack for the 3rd.)

Not sure if Card Destruction is that necessary at all... You already got dump from Future Fusion.

Where's the snatch steal and ring of destruction? They're definite staples here.

Eh, not easy to play dragons in this meta, I think, because big dragons except Horus never get any immunities yet take awhile to get out, and didn't we just get Exiled at 3... lol.

Actually, if we're going with the assumption that we'll be dumping five with Future Fusion already then there will always be enough dragons in the graveyard (Twin-headed, Armed level 3, and Masked). Besides, it's not like you'll really manage to assemble more than like two or three cyberdarks onto the field at any given time. Not without any of them having their equips blasted by spell/trap removal anyway, in which case the dragons end up back in the graveyard. xP But yeah, good point about Snatch Steal and the Ring, guess I'll just say drop pne each of Horn and Edge for that. *Edits* Card Destruction I'd still suggest keeping because relying on a one of out 40 for dumping doesn't seem too appealing to me. Besides, it's sort of a replacement for Graceful Charity (Which used to be a reliable card trade/optional dump, but is now banned .__.).

Cyberdarks are only meant for teched support in which they're using dragons that died by battle/ST into useful resources again. Future Fusion's dump is really for asap Five Headed Dragon more than "let's get those cyberdarks out!"

Card Destruction is not like graceful, since you cannot control your cards that you dump. It's a -1, where Graceful is +0 (graceful + 2 dump for draw 3, but you're dumping 2 cards that needs to be dumped/less useful). Plus, you are doing the same for the opponent too =/
