I was just looking through my Yu-Gi-Oh! card collection last night and I found something odd.
It's obviously fake, since the back doesn't have the logos, the attribute symbol doesn't have "ruby text", all the points of the level stars are visable, the illustration is low-quality, and it lacks copyright information (though, unlike many of my fakes, this one actually has the hologram square in the bottom right corner as well as same foil pattern as the hologram on official cards). I had seen it before, but there was something I had overlooked. This is what interested me the most: the attribute is the symbol for DIVINE and the type starts with the same symbol, so I'm assuming that translates into Divine-Beast (that is, if it's using an official type).
Unlike the real God Cards, this card is level 9 and has relatively low ATK and DEF (2900/2500). Also, the background is the same color as Normal Monsters.
I haven't done a thorough translation of the card (since I don't know hardly any Chinese), but I can tell that the first character in its name is "Light" and the flavour text mentions "Divine" once.
I was wondering if this card was based on an official one, so I tried to look it up, but it wasn't on the list of female monsters. I just posted an almost-identical message on a YGO forum hoping someone could help me figure out what it was. However, in the middle of typing that very message, it struck me that she looked sort of like a Digimon: Angewomon. It wasn't Angewomon, though; it was too detailed, so I looked at her Digivolution.
I don't know why, but whoever made this counterfeit card decided to use a pic of Ophanimon. It makes me wonder if any of my other fakes use images from other sources...
Anyway, do any of you know Chinese enough to translate this card? I'm really curious to know what it says.
