    New ban list makes new metagame, which makes new staples.

    While the new season is still fresh and relatively unstaple, what cards do you think will be popular/"cookie cutter"/stapled? Everyone has different opinions of course, but if we see that a lot of people elect the same cards, then we know probably what is going to be in absolutely every deck, and perhaps we can come up with counter-strategies relatively early then.

    Divide all cards into 4 categories, and nominate cards in each division in terms of what you believe to be the most commonly played card in that category. Each category will have different openings for "cookie cutter winners" because for example, most decks have a lot more magic cards than tribute monsters.

    Remember that what is most commonly used doesn't necessarily have to be a "good" card. We are only trying to vote for the most commonly used cards in each category, and not the best cards in each category.

    Fill out your ballet regarding which cards will be used the most often in each category of cards.

    So, let the election begins!

    I'm going by the decklists of the top 8 at the Shonen Jump Championship in Atlanta for this list.

    That's how most people netdeck. I have a question. Did you get this from pojo?

    I read the card of the day but that's all... I don't think pojo did this.

    Well Cyber Dragon is still a lvl 5 monster, technically ^^;

    I also had a hard time deciding if Reinforcement of the Army will be more used than Nobleman of Crossout, but in the end I decided to take Nobleman of Crossout over Reinforcement of the Army... so I am not all that surprised if someone elected Reinforcement of the Army as one of the magic cards.

    I'm rather surprised that Royal Decree is listed as the #1 trap though O.o;

    The decklists are on Metagame.com.

    But I'm guessing that we could see a different list of 'cookie-cutter' cards come SJC Chicago. The meta is still too fresh.
