I actually really like this deck and would love to play it irl, but I really don't have the money right now. Here's my new list. The objective of this deck is to take advantage of Frogs' amazingly fast SSing abilities and blend it in with Monarchs and create a monarch spluttering deck. All the effects of the monarchs overwhelm the opponents and usually the Dupe lock keeps them safe. It's really amazing how much synergy this two archetypes have.

The Faderless Project is a project developed by myself and some other people that reside on DMG that run frognarchs occasionaly. We try to create decks that do not include the infamous Battle Fader to change this deck to an -almost- budget deck. Unfortunately Caius' popularity and a Must in 3s lowers the budget essence of the deck, but 9 spells really helps, as well as how cheap Frogs are.

tl;dr is done, now on to the deck.

    [31] Monsters
    [3] Substitoad
    [3] Swap Frog
    [2] Dupe Frog
    [1] Ronintoadin
    [2] Treeborn Frog
    [3] Caius the Shadow Monarch
    [3] Raiza the Storm Monarch
    [3] Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch
[1] Gorz the Emissary of Darkness
    [1] Dark Dust Spirit
    [3] Light and Darkness Dragon

    [9] Spells
    [1] Mystical Space Typhoon
    [1] Heavy Storm
    [1] Brain Control
    [3] Soul Exchange
    [3] Enemy Controller

    Total: 40

    Triple Thestalos? Really?

Also where is your 1-4-1? :o You need your 1-4-1!

I would recommend a second copy of Dark Dust. It's like... Lightning Vortex except with a damaging aspect. And it's kinda reusable too. I would also recommend copies of Vanity's Fiend. 'Cause it trolls face with some tier 1 decks. Infernities = SCREW YOUR OTK, X-Sabers = no Special Summons. It's pretty cool. Neither of these are very expensive (below $3 for a copy?) and are probably better than Thestalos at control.

Battle Fader will no longer be expensive when the Wave 1 (or was it Wave 2?) tins come out. But you knew this already. : p

Faders will be about 5 or so once the tins come out, so they'll be pretty inexpensive. IMO DDS is a bad card in the deck. I've tried running it and I've found that there are better cards. Also, Thestalos at 3 is too much. It's not that great of a card, and you almost always side it out game 2 or 3. If you're only going to run one Battle Phase cards, go with Trag over Gorz, as it gives you more options.

For example, you can ditch a monarch to take control of a Faultroll, Hyunlei, Brionac, Goyo, etc. permanently. Alternatively, if you e-con/brain a tuner from your opponent, you can copy something in the grave and synch up. You're almost always guaranteed at least a level 6 with this combo, and if you don't have a monarch/ladd in hand, you still have something to do with your opponent's monster and not give it back.

Finally, Cold Wave is always needed in Frognarchs. You don't set cards ever anyways, so why not just shut your opponent down?

JK; that wasn't finally. You're also only at 25 monsters, not 31 (I was wondering why your build looked like it didn't have any room for other stuff).

Vanity's Fiend is an option, but it doesn't generate pluses when you summon it, and can be easily dealt with. Personally, I'm not a big fan of it; but it does mess with a lot of meta decks if they don't have outs.

Also, if you're not going to run Faders, use Crows in the main instead. They're still a good card against most decks, and if you go up against Infernities, you don't have to rely on winning games 2 and 3; you can just crow their stuff and take game 1 and cruise through.

Finally finally finally (I promise this time), give Obelisk a test. It's a big boss monster that wins games. I'm trying to get my hands on one so I can try it out, but it seems like a great option in the deck.
