YGO: Individual Card Discussion

Sounds more like what they started with. Except with magics and traps and you could use exodia to win.

The World Champ used 2 kycoo in his deck...the one last year used one...I don't see how he isn't good. I use one and side deck one. They keep sinister out of play and BLS and Chaos Sorcerers at bay. Not to mention Dark Necrofear.

New card.

Heavy Storm
Destroy all magic and trap cards on the field.

This card is as close to perfection as you can get with the bans in effect, I still played one before the bans were in effect, I played Duster, MST, and this baby, I like it even though it has a down side, so it gets a 9/10, I did say close to perfection, lol!
:D

Certainly powerful, but I dont think the rules permit you to return trap cards or continous cards on your field to your hand, that is especially un-useful when you are in those situations. Though its still reasonable, since the HFD is banned obviously, and if you waste your dusters or MSTs just on your own magic or trap cards and then activate HS, that is just waste of cards.. Anyone could use this card, thats what makes this card an all-rounder. I'd say its okay, I give it a 8/10.

It's basically a dark hole for magics and traps and I find it as dangerous. I give it a 10/10. Frankly, because they banned Raigeki, the one sided monster destroyer, Darkhole, the all around monster destroyer, and HFD, the one sided magic trap destroyer, I figured they'd ban HS too, the all around magic and trap destroyer. :\

New card, yay.

Blade Knight
Light/Warrior/Effect
4 stars
Atk/1600 Def/1000
If you have 1 or less cards in your hand, the attack of this card on the field is increased by 400 points. Also, if this card is the only monster on your side of the field, negate the effects of flip effect monsters destroyed by this card as a result of battle.

One of the new tin cards, and he sure is shiney. He is accually more use full than he seems, and a good comeback card too, so he gets an 8.5/10!
:D

I have that card, its convienient, but still, not so strong. Especially when the effect has specifications that can change the power of it. Either way, its reasonable. 7/10.

7/10

The main problem with this card is that its effetiveness comes from a lack of options to begin with. This means that you're not playing your game well enough to control CA correctly. I have to admit that any whipping boy can make a comeback for a wire-to-wire with this card, tho...just usually you wouldn't beout of options to begin with.

Well, certainly, i chose that tin because It looked the best, I dont know who else wouldnt choose the blade knight tin, cos you know everyone would buy that tin if they didnt know the effect.

The key word being almost, so I'd go with the Reaper over him, and why equip that when there are better things. I could easily kill him with my deck!

Minun, I bought that in because I knew that Blade Knight was good, if I get another one it would be Command Knight!
:D

Almost. Celtic is not as good as the reaper due to the fact that you need to invest in the extra card onto celtic, whereas the reaper does not require that same amount of investment. Because of this, removal generally used would not hurt the reaper player as much as the celtic player.

btw, I'm sure most decks can deal with any monster. lol

Yeah? How cool is that Mullet. XD
*is bored*
Mullet: *walks out of the house*
Dudes Outside: WHOA ITS HIM!
Mullet: Who? *looks around*
Dudes Outside; YOU! XD

I've never seen command knight before, i only bought 3 tins, and I didnt see any command knight on any of my tins (well first i didnt know what they were but te celtic) *tries to search for command knight*

Most people who invest inyugioh though know the effects already. Blade nkight can power himself up,s ure,but Celtic is much more deadly. Equip a Malevolent nuzzler to him and he can't be killed by attacks. He's almost as good as Spirit Reaper.
i beg to differ pogi
BladeKnight has the potential of the attack of 2000
for a level 4 that is quite amazing, although a bit risky, if you have your game right, he's a game winning card besides he also has a sasuke samurai effect.
how awesome is that?

pros:
2000 beatstick
sasuke effect

cons:
risky but well worth it

the celtic is decent however there is a flaw to him
a major one
you need to have him pumped up to about 2100 if i remember correctly
but i don't know what's going on in the current metagame of yugioh but assuming you run 3 malevolents, and 3 celtics that's already 6 out of 40 so... and if you try to run 1 malevolent and 1 celtic, that's still 2 out of 40 and what are the odds that you'll have both cards at hand, quite slim, you have a 1/20 for just one of those cards or you have 2/40 so why not just run bladeknight?
however a celtic deck built around equips would be rather interesting.
a note for YGO players:
guys i'm playing magic right now, however as different as it may seem, the deck building has one thing in common. If you run a deck within the current metagame and your guaranteed to win then where's the fun in that. However you can't make a deck that doesn't work with a bunch of random cards, so there's alot of thinking and cards you should put into consideration in all kinds of card games, but most of you know.
