Attention Duelists! I found the March 2012 Forbidden/Limited lists while I was surfing around.

For those who are lazy to click the source, here's the list of new additions:

    Forbidden:
    -Glow-Up Bulb
    -Spore
    -Trap Dustshoot
-Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier

    Limited:
    -T.G. Striker
-The Agent of Mystery - Earth

    Semi-limited:
    -Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner
    -Marshmallon
    -Reborn Tengu
    -Emergency Teleport
    -Level Limit - Area B
    -Shien's Smoke Signal
    -Torrential Tribute
    -Ultimate Offering

    Unlimited:
    -Call of the Haunted

(if this list turns out to be fake, or if I did the wrong thing, I apologize in advance)

If this list is legit, Dustshoot getting put to 0 will be a real kick to the balls for a good number of players.

Yeah it's confirmed. Glad Dustshoot is gone. They didn't do anything to hit Wind Ups or Inzektors which annoys me but otherwise the list is OK I think.

way to kill the plant engine there konami. not happy about trish, cuz that means putting in mist wurm. a level 9 with 2500, that bounces? meh, ill take remove from play anyday that can get over 2500 beaters =T

what im actually surprised is that card destruction hasn't been banned

and wtf to to REBORN TENGU and torrential being semi'd!

Did it have to be both Glow Up and Spore? I'd be fine with one of them gone but both of them along with Trishula is like picking my deck apart. Also BLS should have been thrown back into the forbidden list.

It's a testament to the fact KOWN (Konami Only Wants Money).

Wind-ups and Inzektors are fairly recent, so they don't want to hit it before a large number of people buy cards. ; |

I need to quit playing this game LOL

But once you're sucked in, there is no escape >_<

To be fair though, I don't really buy much YGO product anymore. COTH at three seems interesting. Zombiesworn should try and make a come back with triple Call and double TT lol.

Glow-Up Bulb and Spore getting banned was just plain dumb. They were pretty much why Plants were good (and Glow-Up is sometimes seen outside of Plant decks, like Lightsworns). I would've liked it if Lonefire Blossom got banned instead of those two because it can easily get Tytannial or Gigaplant out for free.

Trishula getting banned was pretty justified; banishing 3 cards in 3 different places at once can usually make or break a game.

After calming down from raging over this banlist. This is what I think.

Trap dustshoot = Fine, it was stupid anyway.
Glow-up Bulb = Waste of a ban, not that broken and never the problem with plants.
Spore = Konami you morons, this isn't the problem.
Tris = The middle finger to synchros. Good card, but ban worthy? No.

Now we have Wind-Ups and Insectors running wild, with no restriction and it is just stupid.

I have officially decided to stop playing the game till the next banlist, where it is hopefully fixed. Such a stupid banlist it is untrue.
The reason is they have, basically said, YOU MUST BUY OUR NEW EXPENSIVE CARDS OR YOU CAN'T PLAY. Yes, I know they are a business, but they crap all over the playerbase and don't give a crap.

    Good day Konami.

Konami just wanted to hit plants, but Glow-Up and Spore were valid bans (they gutted the deck by doing so). Nobody cares about Lonefire getting anything other than Dandy / Glow-Up / Spore, actually.

    Trishula was unnecessary, though. Real.

Well this is based on the OCG meta, which could be different. Hopefully some stuff from the next set will make Wind-Ups, and Inzektors less stupid. I'm very surprised they hit Tengu and Trish.

This is the first instance of this happening, though, isn't it? And it's not like Plants weren't the top deck to beat before the banlist hit in the TCG. I know it's always been the OCG meta in the past, but...

    There's an unlimited section? /ohmysincewhenI'msolost
I haven't payed much attention to the newer Yu-Gi-Oh!, lol. I think I should, although I always say things like this and never follow through . . . lol
Because of that, I only recognize about half of the cards listed there, and the ones I do I suppose make sense. (dat Marshmallon)
oh hai, I found Cirrus. There you are |3
