So, bit of a weird title eh? Well, I thought it would be an appropriate title for the best dragon deck build I've done I think. Well, I guess most of it came from the Chaos Dragon deck build we were talking about a while back, but here is my version, with my own techs and choices that I believe give the deck more options and areas to exploit my opponent's weaknesses and, as a dragon deck should, beat over my opponent's defence and deal damage wherever possible. So, after that, here is my deck - all comments and critisisms are appreciated, but only if a critisism is backed up with an improvement.
Chaos Dragons
Total Cards: 40
Total Monsters: 24
Total Spells: 14
Total Traps: 2
Extra Deck Total: 15
Total Cards: 40
Total Monsters: 24
Total Spells: 14
Total Traps: 2
Extra Deck Total: 15
Monsters:
[3] Blue-Eyes White Dragon
[1] Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning
[1] Dark Armed Dragon
[2] Divine Dragon Apocalypse
[1] Effect Veiler
[1] Gorz the Emissary of Darkness
[2] Koa'ki Meiru Drago
[2] Lightpulsar Dragon
[3] Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon
[2] Red-Eyes Wyvern
[1] Sangan
[2] The White Stone of Legend
[3] Tour Guide of the Underworld
So, starting at the top, Blue-Eyes is one the main 'hitters' in this deck, at 3000ATK him and Black Luster Soldier are the most powerful cards in the main deck. Plus, being a light monster, Blue-Eyes makes it that much easier to get out BLS. Dark Armed Dragon is the main field-clearer and a big secondary beater too.Divine Dragon Apocalypse recycles destroyed Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragons and can also put things to be special summoned by it into the graveyard, also helping either BLS or DAD. Effect Veiler is pretty self-explanatory, Gorz as well. Koa'ki Meiru Drago is the main lockdown monster, stopping light and dark monsters from being special summoned absolutely ruins some decks, and when it happens, can have very amusing effects. Lightpulsar Dragon is a good beater for a level 6 monster, plus when its destroyed it can bring back any level 5 or higher dragon, thus recycling a REDMD, which could ultimately also bring back LpD. Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon is staple, and is self-explanatory with its effect. Red-Eyes Wyvern can used alongside Future Fusion to get out REDMD first turn, if a bad starting hand is drawn. Sangan, well yeah, another self-explanatory card. The White Stone of Legend is a level 1 Tuner, so is immensely good at getting out a range of synchros, including managing to summon Shooting Star with a combo of moves and summons. Tour Guide is one more, self-explanatory card, being just super-special-awesome.
Spells:
[1] Allure of Darkness
[1] Book of Moon
[1] Dark Hole
[1] Foolish Burial
[1] Future Fusion
[2] Gold Sarcophagus
[1] Heavy Storm
[1] Mind Control
[1] Monster Reborn
[2] Mystical Space Typhoon
[2] Trade-In
So on to the spells. Allure of Darkness is good to run in this deck, because it is very safe with the amount of darks in the deck. Book of Moon is so useful as a defensive card, being able to stop almost anything that could prove threatening. Dark Hole - staple. Foolish Burial can send a much needed dragon to the graveyard, to help utilise DAD's effect, or maybe even to allow BLS to be summoned. Future Fusion sends five dragons to the graveyard, making it invaluable in this deck and also, if your opponent doesn't get rid of it, they'll have a nasty 5000ATK beater to deal with. Gold Sarcophagus I chose over PoD because PoD stops this deck dead should I use it. Heavy Storm is a staple, enough said. Mind Control is great for stealing a tuner or a face-down card which could be threatening. Monster Reborn - another staple. Mystical Space Typhoon is also a staple. Scapegoat is a massive tech choice I made, and I made it after a friend of mine put it into his plants. It makes for a great defence, and also provides with a lot of level 1 synchro bait. Combined with The White Stone of Legend, I can get out both Formula Synchron and Stardust Dragon, resulting in a Shhoting Star Dragon in one turn. Trade-In is useful if you have a dead Blue-Eyes in your hand, or another dead card and need to dispose of it.
Traps:
[1] Solemn Judgment
[1] Trap Dustshoot
Traps now. As you can see, not much to say here, except that the two most important traps are here. Solemn Judgment is my 'God says no!' card, and Trap Dustshooting is amazing for stopping your opponent from spamming something ugly into your face, whilst depriving them of a card too - great first turn.
Extra Deck:
--Fusion--
[1] Five-God Dragon
--Synchros--
[1] Ally of Justice Catastor
[1] Black Rose Dragon
[1] Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
[1] Iron Chain Dragon
[1] Scrap Dragon
[1] Stardust Dragon
[1] T.G. Hyper Librarian
[1] Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
--Xyz--
[1] Leviair the Sea Dragon
[1] No.17: Leviathan Dragon
[1] Steelswarm Roach
[1] Thunder End Dragon
[2] Wind-Up Zenmaines
Now the biggie. Five-God Dragon is necessary for Future Fusion, and is pretty disastrous should it make it to the field. The Synchros are quite staple, except for Shooting Quasar Dragon and Shooting Star Dragon. These two are tech choices of mine, with Shooting Star Dragon being a nice addition to the Extra Deck, while Shooting Quasar Dragon is there should I be lucky enough to summon it. I was thinking about adding Thunder-End Dragon, but I think its probably better not to have it in my DN deck, while irl I shall use it as a placeholder for another card I do not have - pretty much all of them XD
[3] Blue-Eyes White Dragon
[1] Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning
[1] Dark Armed Dragon
[2] Divine Dragon Apocalypse
[1] Effect Veiler
[1] Gorz the Emissary of Darkness
[2] Koa'ki Meiru Drago
[2] Lightpulsar Dragon
[3] Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon
