YOU are my idol!

Narr. I be my own idol 'cause that's teh new coolness.

...

Nah, I don't really have an idol, there is one man I have a tremendous amount of respect for and do look to for inspiration at times, but I don't really wanna be like him, I just think he has a great outlook on life.

not a bad thread, I like what I see....

in terms of idols, I don't have idols, but I have influences that play parts in my life, people that give me the right push are the ones that get the longterm respect and loyalty in my life...

my parents for one, they've done a lot and are first off, still standing strong, they raised me with the right ideas and now I need to take a few more steps to enter the real adult life because the college life is not adult life, it's like the gateway more than anything.

anyone that can write a book strong enough to impact lives is respectable in my eyes, because they succeeded in keeping their legacy alive through written word.

I can keep going on about idols and whatnot.... each stage of my life had its own influences, and I'm still standing strong, if not stronger than I first was... and I know that I am going to be a good idol one day should I stay on the right path.

I idolize myself, being so young and vulnerable to the influence I need to give myself strength to succeed in my own life.Idolizing someone in my own opinion is wrong and if someone idolizes me I don't feel bad for you, but you need to look to your own achievements and/or future and see what you can over come in life and not what you can follow.

PS: This is my opinion not someone elses.

I knew someone would make a thread like this... creepy... :paranoid:

I once heard this quote- "If a child has to look any farther than their own kitchen table to see their role models, then there's something wrong with this country." Well then, there must be something wrong with this country then, because my role models don't even live in this country. If I had to think of someone in this country, I'd say my friend Anthony.

I also have 3 of em' here. (depressing isn't it?)

All of them will probably view this post. There's two from Canada, and one from UK. And one that would have probably viewed this thread, but he LEFT! :'( (he's also from Canada)

It should be pretty obvious. Just take a wild guess. ;)

I think in my early ages... idolizing power rangers made me the exceptional kickboxer I am today. (got me a row of gold medals(8), about 5 more to go ^^)

Oh God..Oh..God...You're absolutely right. I completely forgot about them..

I heard from someone the red ranger went into gay porn after he left the show O_O

xD Complately disregaurd my last post. Except for Shayla, Tommy is my hero. For those of you who didn't know he was the original green ranger. he even had his own theme..it was all like "GO GREEN RANGER..GO!!" Follwed by "DAH NAH DAH NAH NAH NAH NAH"

Much love <33

Ugh... That's the good thing about television characters I guess. You can idolize the fictional character and not the actual actor depicting them. Green/White ranger was my favorite. I remember whenever he did this one spinning kick he would always say something like "hwa-saint-aya!" EVERY TIME. Awesome, man.

There are people I admire for what they've done but it never gets to stage of idolization. I greatly appreciate them, 'tis all.

Macy is my idol. (Shiranui, yeah, that good graphic maker) I only just figured that out. (Most of you'd be suprised that it isn't Tali... but meh) Anyways, I idolize her because she's so much more interesting and better at making graphics.
