30 minute doodle done after 15 minutes of sleep (a few days ago), when I couldn't get back to sleep. >>; Shading makes no sense, lineart isn't smooth, coloring goes in and out of lines. The only thing in those "mistakes" that wasn't on purpose was the shading; yes, that means I wanted rough lines and strange coloring. It's the style. I probably didn't do it right, though. Feel free to poke at anything that I haven't mentioned.

In art the least thing you gotta be is a perfectionist, IMO. Those little 'mistakes' sometimes give more life and even personality to the piece, much like noise or careless moans give life to a blues concert.

Aha, well, to be honest, I myself don't really like smooth lineart and not because it's difficult for me to do it without the blasted pen tool which I hate so much for drawing, but... it just doesn't suit my taste or style. Yeah, I kinda agree with you there. Sometimes the random imperfections make it more... interesting. I'm glad to know that you like it, though. =D

The concept... is certainly odd. I'm not really sure how I came up with it anymore... I can't remember. I think it was from a random Drifloon sketch I did, which doesn't relate at all.
