[Sword & Shield] You can skip the capture tutorial

Gamespot says you can skip the capture tutorial in these games. How do you feel about this?

I've been waiting for this since Pokemon Yellow! I think we all know how capturing a Pokemon works at this point LOL

I'm all for skipping tutorials and making the initial stages of the adventure faster but in the end it's not really a change that important. I guess that the most noteworthy thing is that it took GF so many years to make tutorials skippable

It's about time. I've been playing Pokemon since 2001. I know how to capture them. If someone new to the series skips the tutorial, they should be able to pick it up as they go.

I think this is good, I like the way they have apparently gone about it so that complete newbies don't accidentally spam the a button and miss how to do it.
