    I'm wondering what to say about this...

    Well, personally, I enjoy the feature "You may also like..." since it may give me some interest in case I want to click some threads. However, today I just found out that there are some case of images that may include some sort of offending message in one of the image previews, meanwhile the rules in here says that you should not let the troublesome words across (However, bypassing the censors is unacceptable—don't blurt out parts of a swear word just so you can get that word across.). It may be something minor, but I don't think it's a good thing if it comes to the friendliness of the forum itself. And I afraid this is not the first time it happens.

    I'm wondering if there should be anything to do so that such problems may not occur anymore.

    @_@

    I swear we blocked this stuff. That said the feature isn't even properly implemented and I don't think anyone has ever found much use for it (in fact, even though I can't see it for some reason I imagine it'd be pretty annoying) so I'll see if I can just get it removed.

    okay I'm just gonna go ahead and disable it for now in that case until we decide on what to do with it

    Well I've noticed instances where I've had my swear words censored or changed. One actually turned into muk which I thought was pretty hilarious. As far as people bypassing the censoring system there's always going to be people that do that or at least try. Just don't let it bother you too much.

    It may be so, but the problem is, I afraid some of the sensitive parents might see this and giving PC a bad rep just because of a certain cuss words slipping up. Not to mention about the younger people, and also because of the rules I mentioned earlier... which is why I'm concerned with this stuff.

    That's related to the swear word filter option which changes swear words in posts, but having an image containing a swear word is counted as filter bypassing and isn't allowed. Whilst it's alright for some, we do also get younger members on here, some of who's parents may not be too pleased to find an innocent forum like this throwing unavoidable swear words in their child's face - even if unintentionally. Sure this is the internet and chances are they've already come across them all, but we don't really want to be the cause of upset. Better for us to leave that to other areas of the internet.
