So what's the way you raise your Pokemon best?
    Do you use cheats?

    What's your favorite team?
What's the best most ultimate team you could ever imagine to have?

    Any series of games.
    Compare and contrast.

    Personally,
I'm still "learning" how to be a good trainer.
I don't really understand nature or EVs or IVs or good movesets. I thought I had being a good trainer down pretty well but...there's wayyy more than I ever thought...so I coul use some coaching eventually. xD
I have such horrible patience but to level up I train and train and train and spend countless hours battling wild Pokes when I run outta Trainers.

I seem to loose a patience soon into training my pokemon, I don't quite understand EV/IV Training just yet but I am getting used to it being mentioned alot.
I have various ways of trining my pokemon, one thing is for sure in partiucalar I never cheat. I think it defeats the purpose of the game if you cheat whats the fun of training if you have hacked your way to the top rather than working for it like other deserving people should. I'm getting a bit of topic arent I?

Anyway I also have a variety of different teas but I usually try and mix the types of pokemon in them to destroy any weaknesses referring to type advantage.
    Some Teams include these:
Kanto: Pigeot, Charizard, Raichu, Alakazam, Golem, Arbok
Johto: Feraligatr, Scizor, Steelix, Crobat, Gengar, Gyarados
Heonn: Blaziken, Metagross, Altaria, Flygon, Salamence, Dusknoir
Sinnoh: Staraptor, Infernape, Luxray, Garchomp, Drifblim, Hippowdon/Milotic.

I've never actually raised TEAMS before, no lie.
This is the first time and it's Diamond.
My team is Umbreon, Monferno, Pichu, Dratini, Pidgeotto, and Wartortle.
Most are traded and since they're over Lv 30 they're being horribly difficult since I just got my 3rd badge. -.-"

    Haha, Good luck then.
I have trainbed alot of teams in fact I have had about 8 years of solid experience. So ask me if you need any help. (:

    Thanks!
I mean I have experience w Pokemon. Been watching it since '98. Playing it since my brother got Red Version right after it came out...I just never had the patience to raise TEAMS til now xD

    Tips from me are:

    1. Do not train only a few because you need a well balanced team.
    2. Don't train only one type have a balanced type advantage.
    3. Keep the levels on your team even ie.. don't have a 2 level 51 and the rest of the team level 10-40.
    4. Have enough Ether and potions so you do not have to waste time going back and forth to the PokeCenter.
    5. Carry enough status healers around ie... Burn Heal, Ice Heal, Parlyz etc.
    6. Think about how you are going to battle a Trainer, Gym Leader or a member of the Elite Four before you rush in.
    7. Ask a friend or someone online at PC to do a trade because a traded pokemon gains 1.5 more exp points than you own and you can use that to your advantage.
    8. When you pick your starter at the start of the game think before you choose because can you find a better and stonger Fire, Grass or Water Pokemon in the wild.
    9. Use an Exp Share on a weak Pokemon in your team and battle a wild Pokemon with your fairly strong Pokemon to get the weak ones levels up so it can battle.
    10. Last but not least always have a move in your movepool that can either make the opponent fall asleep, get poisoned, burnt or parlyzed.

    My teams are:

Kanto: Pikachu, Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur, Pidgeot and Alakazam
Johto: Meganium, Flareon, Umbreon, Slowking, Girafarig and Ampharos
Hoenn: Blaziken, Tropius, Wailord, Metagross, Mightyena and Seviper
Sinnoh: Torterra, Rapidash, Staraptor, Gastrodon, Bronzong and Lucario

Some of my tips: [Asides from whats already been said :)]

    1. I can't remmeber from earlier games but in D/P/Pt. thereare some handy places that arent Pokémon centres but you can heal up in near tall grass. The only two I can think of off the top of my head is the Hotel near Lake Valor which is beside the route to Sunnyshore, and the Cabin on the route to Snowpoint. So there are a few opportunities to level up different types and you save money on heal up items if you're saving for a Game Corner prize[I'm lazy, I just buy the coins]

2] Instead of giving an Exp. Share to another Pokémon I give it to my battling Pokémon, usually they recieve more than the usual exp.

3] Know your types as you don't want to be KOed by a wild pokémon *shame*

4] Pick your locations carefully in accordance to level, types of wildpokemon, accesability to pokemon centres [if you wish, bring items if you wanted to Train deep in a mountain or cave]

If you train the pokemon you like and train however you feel like, you will go far
