All of you have interesting stories! It seems Poke'Mon, for everyone, started at 1st-3rd Grade.
Well I started when I was 4. My cousins had cards so I wanted them too. Soon after my grandmother gives me two booster packs, Jungle and Fossil. My first card was Cubone. I also had Vilplume and Rhyhorn. In my first base pack, I got a Mew2. Now, I have 1 Ultimate deck and over 300 cards.

When I was little (1st/2nd grade) i used to brought booster packs of 1st set, and then, gave them to my cousin, who played in that time. i remember a Dugtrio, a Holo-Magneton, a Dragonari and a Pluspower. in the 3rd grade, that same cousin teached to play, and I bought a deck Overgrowth. I love Gyarados and Beedrill since then!

my first was a japanese charmander...me and my friends played with japanese cards before the us ones came out cause a card shop owner told us how to play i dont play anymore just gba for me
