So, I don't know if someone has done this before. But, I wanted to know who your heroes are.
My parents for one, but that must be on everyone's list.
Someone out side the family, that's my hero. Is Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park.
He supports causes that I can relate to.
    He can speak Japanese (xD)
    He is an amazing artist.
He isn't afraid to be himself. He gives me inspiration to be who I am.

So, who are your heroes? And why are they?

    :]

Mike Shinoda is a tool :<

This coming from someone who actually enjoyed Linkin Park's first too albums. Seriously, what the hell happened to them? D:

My hero...well, it's kind of hard to say. I don't really "envy" anyone, but there definitely are people that inspire me as a person. Malcolm X, Che Guevara, Joseph Broz Tito, and Benigno Aquino, Jr., just to name a few.

...If you don't know who any off those people are, google them D<

Zach Braff is easily the most talented, sexy, funniest man alive.

For me, I'd have to say... this guy.
lol. I clicked it, and I feel foolish.

When I was little, Michael Jordan was my god. He kind of stands for everything that is impossible-cool.
Nowadays, there are oodles of people I admire and I will not attempt to list them all.

There's a thread on idols/heroes isn't there? Meh, oh well.
Swedish House Mafia all the way for me.

Michael Jordan was my hero for a while after watching Space Jam, it's funny cuz I've never been into basket ball...

Goku, Gohan, Jackie Chan and Ash are my heroes :3 They're bad ass

I agree, Jordan in space jam was the coolest guy ever. I wished the loony toons came to my house. D:
AeroKuragari, I just watched that video. That's pretty cool!
    :3 Ikr? It's awesome.

I don't really have a hero or a role model. I do think some celebrities are really cool for what they do and how some of the stay out of trouble. I just prefer to follow my own life and live it the best way possible.

I've never really had any heroes, I've always just inspired to become the best in everything and even if I fail trying to do so I would at least get far in it, but then as I grew in age laziness took over.

Edit: Damn you poster above for travelling forward in time and copying me!

Oh man, you're so cool, you can imply that other peoples' opinion are crap.
    [/Angst]

...Was I implying that his opinion was "crap," or was I implying that I don't like Mike Shinoda, or the new turn Linkin Park have taken in their musical career?

Oh dayum, you're awesome. Making assumptions, ftw!

Kathy Griffin is my hero. I know what you all must be thinking but I love her so much. She happens to be the funniest, craziest, and coolest person alive. Even if she does curse every 5 words and told Jesus to Suck It, I really don't care. The only problem is that she doesn't have any tour dates set for my city and the fact that I'd be to young to get in ):

Buddy Rich, A god of drumming and a god of music. :)

Nobody asked what you thought about other peoples' heroes, or for you to put them down. If you want to make a thread called "everyone you love is stupid," go ahead; I'm sure nobody will see that as being a jerk, either.

Nope, no one did ask for my opinion. But guess what? That's not gonna stop me from stating it. :]

Jesus Christ, what's with all the hostility? XD

    Spoiler:

Avenged Sevenfold and Atreyu. Not simply for their awesome music, not because they're my favorite bands... Hell, I don't know if I can explain why I like them so much, all I can say is that they're music has saved me time and again. Without them, I probably would have dropped out of school by now, and I probably would've given up on guitar.
