4th Gen Your HM Slave?

Which one was yours? Mine was Bibarel. I stoped training it at lvl fifteen so I could register Bibarel in the DEX as soon as it evolved from Bidoof.

Same for me, i used Bidoof/Bibarel, i think most people did as well

I caught a Kricketot thinking it would evolve into something super awesome. So I was training it and then it evolved into Kricketune and I was like "WTF!! I caught a Super Marioman?!?" So I had no use of him so I taught him Cut then I saw that he could learn almost every HM so I started teaching him them. And that's how Super Mar-- Uh, I mean Kricketune became my HM Slave.

I personally just picked up random Pokemon when I needed them, I'm just trying to keep a balanced team of (what ended up being 5) on Pearl, I had Torterra, Luxray, Typhlosion, Lumineon, and Alakazam. I had various move slaves, I mean it's not like I planned on using them, Budew was my Cut Pokemon, Steelix covered Rock Smash, Rock Climb, and Strength. I never saw Surf as a Slave move, it's very good, but I had to use Water Fall (not much good with it being Physical now) on my Lumineon, nothing else could learn it.

Eh, I used my Charizard for HM moves...lol

There was a thread on this before, though it is months old...so anyway, back then, I said my "HM slaves" as they are called were my Lv. 92 Charizard with four HM moves, and a freshly-evolved Blastoise with the other four. Before you go critiquing, the Charizard was my LeafGreen starter who basically didn't really work well in a 4th Gen. team, but seeing as she was my starter, I grew attached to her. So I used it for HMs because Flying on Charizard is just cool. In no way would I use her competitively, of course, without replacing all of the HM moves.

Anyways, nowadays, I use a Shiny Latias, a Suicune, and my Pickup Ambipom, though I may replace the Latias for my newly-acquired Shiny Ho-oh instead.

Oh, and I don't use Bibarel because the thought of Surfing on one horrifies me, personally.

I taught Fly, Surf, Strength, Rock Smash to Pokémon in my party because I can't stand having to bring Pokémon just to get through a cave or a sea route. That's unless the move is really really bad like Cut.

I taught Cut to a Bibarel, and Waterfall to a Goldeen (I think so) but I don't thin kthey count as HM Slaves.

Also, I taught no Pokémon Defog because I have a guide with maps :)

I normally don't use HM slaves but in my Pearl, Bibarel was my HM slave~

I use a Geodude. It learns all the moves I don't want my normal party pokemon to have. I taught my Blastoise surf, which is an effective move in batter too, so why not. I recently caught a Tentacruel for waterfall, and my Staraptor knows fly. So, that pretty much covers it all.

Tropius makes an excellent slave, along wiht linoone, tentacool also is efficient (wiht the water HMs and cut)

I use two Pokemon, Bibarel and Pelipper.

Bibarel is really handy for this, kinda like how Lioone was in R/S/E.

Bibarel: Rock Smash, Cut, Strength, Rock Climb
Pelipper: Fly, Surf, Waterfall, De-Fog

IN the 3rd gen, I used a Slakoth for Strength, Rock Smash, and Cut.

Yep, Bibarel is my HM slave. Water and Normal - perfect, it's also a good wall.

It's so much nicer to concentrate on 5 fighters with no bad moves, than 6 fighters that take longer to all level up and have Rock Smash and Cut taking up valuable space.

I can't believe I only used a HM slave for THIS generation.

Bibarel was mine. It learns 6 of the 8 HM moves. All it doesn't know is the flying HM moves.

I was horrible. I used a Lonely Ramparados for my HM slave. Lawls. Staravia to fly places.
