I've never actually played Diamond or Pearl, so I don't want to discount the whole region, just on the off chance that I'd really end up liking them.
Getting through Platinum for me, however, is a struggle, and I've made many attempts. To be honest I'm not sure I've even been able to force myself to beat it. Thinking back to playing it in the past, I really don't recall finishing it.
Of course it has been a while, so maybe I'll have a different outlook after finishing my current playthrough.
