Hi, I'm Xexix and new here so, if this has been done before, I apologize.

To be blunt, what do you think of the new Rotom forms?

    --Possible Talking Points--

    - Imaginative?
    - Clever?
    - Stupid?
    - Looking forward to using them?

for me the form suckssssss, they are just things...i mean,u could made them somewhat cool, like for example eevee, but things?yeah sure....i think they are stupid.

This post not only applies to the Rotom forms, but Platinum in general.

    What.A.Pile.Of.Rubbish

As far as I'm concerned, making them into formes were just total gimmicks. Either that, or Nintendo's just too scared to actually add evolutions mid-gen (better stats, new look, slightly enlarged movepool... basically an evo).

On the plus side, I feel Rotom got some cool things... if only because the bulkier stats make it a lot cooler for various usages. Wish it got more than stats and a singular move per forme, though. Look hella cooler than Rotom ever did, at least. =P

What, yet another Rotom form thread. Anyway I love the and think they are one of the best pokemon concepts yet.

The new Rotoms look awesome, especially the new heat Rotom looks cool xd.

I think they look good. It makes sense to make Rotom inhabit electrical things, as it is a motorized pokemon. He seems better, like he has a purpose instead of a random spark, he is now a lawnmower, an oven (or something that looks like an oven), a fan, a Washing machine, and a Fridge.

But sometimes, you've just got to ask yourself why Nintendo was so lazy and didn't even give them fully individual movepools (dur... Overheat for Toaster Rotom. 'Kay. Done there.)... or stat spread.

The new spread and the images are admittedly pretty nice (and it all fits conceptually), there's just a sense that Nintendo could've done a lot more. Like give Toaster Rotom better attack stats, more Fire moves, or make give it its own typing.

True, but they made Rotom compatible with all the items. It would be a bit overcomplicated to script it losing all Fire Moves and replacing them with Water moves for the Washing machine. 1 Key Move is easier to script. As for stats, I agree with that.

As for the types, seeing as it now possesses the electrical items, it isn't that much of a ghost anymore... Its more of an electric/Fire for Toaster.

i agree with u on that one :)
nintendo just dont listen to thier fans anymore otherwise they would have done a G/S/C remake by now!
    there probably making wii games.........

I think the Rotom formes are actually a very good idea. They gave him new attacks and better base stats. And the idea of him taking control of electrical items needed to be implemented, seeing as how he's found in a TV. However, the only drawback is that they are all Electric/Ghost, meaning the new attacks get no STAB.

But i'm still gonna try to make a good IV'd and EV'd Rotom.

ok listen al nintendo is change a pokemons form and give it new stats! then think theyve made an awesome new pokemon!
who cares!!!! the stats dont count just take the stats out of your head for a minute ok?
think of how stupid its gonna look in the manga!
