4th Gen Your Opinons on Pokemon for the DS

    My opinon for this is actually not very good. Why couldn't they just keep Pokmon on the GBA instead of putting it on the God-forsaken DS. I really do not like the DS, I think that it is a disgrace to all handheld systems, but I'm getting off-subject now. What purpose will the second screen hold for the upcoming Pokemon games? A map? Like most of the other games for the DS? Basicly my opinon is to keep Pokemon on a GBA instead of this DS crap.
     
    One reason: To get people to buy DS.

    This is not the place for you to whine about how much you hate the DS. Anyways, some screenshots have come out all over the net, and it seems the 2nd screen will have various colorful bits and bobs. For instance, the Pokedex will have menu controls on the 2nd screen. Nothing too spectacular as of yet.

    At first I too thought the DS was an affront to gaming, but they've really made it work with most of their games. There won't be too many more GBA games coming out, so you might as well learn to live with it. DS plays GBA games anyways.
     
    I think that moving Pokemon to DS was a good idea. Now you can go Wi-fi, have voice chat, and all that jazz. Also, since the DS came out, gba is now going out of style like gbc did.
     
    You want small? Buy the new DS Lite. I got it for my birthday today, kyahaha.
     
    Lucky! They cost $129.99! Anyway, the lite may be small, but I will always play pokemon on my sp!(Except ones I can't play on sp.)
     
    GBA? I had no clue the DS could play GBA games......thats actually pretty cool, I may have to reconsider getting one. I have enough money right now for a DS Lite but, I want to get a PSP. Desicions, Desicions. (I'm really bad about changing my mind in an instant...lol)
     
    It's time to move on the new generation of Pokemon.
    If it was on GBA, it would be RSE with just more Pokemon and different map.
    Easy enough.
     
    Quite personally, I'm looking forward to the DS adaptions of the game. Look on the bright side, at least Nintendo didn't take advantage of DS's acceptable 3D graphics.
    Pokemon = NOT a 3D game.
     
    I actually like Pokemon on the DS. I'm not saying that because I have 2 DS's but its true though. It makes it better in a certain way. You can fit more things onto a DS Cartgride then a GBA Cartrigde.

    I am personally REALLY looking forward to the DS games. I've heard that you will be able to trade R/S/E/FR/LG Pokemon to the DS games, which isn AWESOME!
     
    I have a NDS and a NDS Lite (Actually when I got my NDS Lite today I had to give my NDS to my sister) and I can't wait for it.
     
    I got a DS. I think its a good idea to move the pokemon generation to DS, DS can handle much more than GBA can.
