Standard Flygon uses a Choice Band

    Flygon@Choice Band
    Nature: Adamant
    EV: 252 Speed/252 Sp Att/6 HP
    Trait: Levitate
    Earthquake
    Rock Slide
    Quick Attack
    Fire Blast

If you're lucky to get Hidden Power Bug of a decent power level (60+), use that over Fire Blast. Fire Blast will help you take on Pokemon like Skarmory that resist your other moves.

I'm going to get a Flygon for the first time. What should the move-list be for my Flygon?

    Dragon Claw
    Solarbeam
    Earthquake
    Protect(From Ice type moves.)

I just started a new game and bred some pokes to go into my Firered game, but I can't decide what to throw in on my last spot. Any suggestions? I don't need movesets, but you can recommend replacments if you'd like.

    Charmander
    Poliwag
    Electabuzz
    Pidgey
    Sandshrew
    [Empty Slot]

This is only for the single player game, not against other people.

PLEASE no Solarbeam on Flygon, especially if you don't have Sunny Day support. Even then you shouldn't. Flygon is also a physical attacker, so Protect doesn't help it either.

Just because you can beat the Elite Four, don't think your Pokemon is a champion. Any worthwhile Pokemon can take every one of them out in one shot. Same with the Frontier. Those battles are lengthy, not difficult.

*pokes Shanecdavis* Rate my latest team setup? *points up the thread*

    It's probably gonna be:
    scizor-adamant-Defense+baton passer
    Umbreon:Careful-Sp defense+ baton passer
    Gengar-timid-Special sweeper
    Flygon-mild/adamant-depends
    Tyranitar-Quiet-Choice bander
    Charizard:lonely-Mixed sweeper

If anyone out there thinks this sucks-tell me
I kinda already made the card though-so be gentle!

I don't claim to be as expertised as other people, but having two Baton Passers on one team seems violently unbalanced in my opinion. *shrug*

I've just got Emerald, finally, and I intend for my team to be:
    Manectric
    Alakazam
    Flygon
    Ninetails
Milotic -(thats gonna take me a while ^^;; )
and some undecided pokemon. Probably a fighting type, since I rarely use them and I want to change things up a bit. And in that changing, I've decided not to use my starter (a treeko) But treat my abra (soon to be alakazam) as a starter. Tada. lol

Why? Baton passing chains are awesome and nearly unstoppable unless your opponent has a phazer/hazer. A team made entirely of Baton Passers can beat just about every other team.

    Heracross
    Megahorn
    Brick Break

Posting this here since no one seems to want to respond in the RSE topic. *shrug* I'm training these guys against the Elite Four right now.

    Team "Crimson Raiders"

    Scizor
    Swords Dance
    Agility
    Silver Wind
    Baton Pass

Built as an opening buffer, preferably to maximize the attack power of Medicham. Silver Wind for STAB and the sake of an attack if it needs to.

    Medicham
    Fake Out
    Brick Break
    Rock Slide
    Shadow Ball

We all know this setup. Maximizes attack with its Pure Power ability, maxed Attack EVs, boosts gained from Scizor, the STAB for Fake Out and Brick Break. Rock Slide for those pesky Flying types, and Shadow Ball to take down Ghosts.

    Forretress
    Spikes
    Earthquake
    Rapid Spin
    Explosion

A top wall and spiker with EQ for pure power, and cap it all off with Explosion before it dies.

    Ninetales
    Fire Spin
    Confuse Ray
    Toxic
    Flamethrower

Built to trap and slowly kill off the enemy, Flamethrower for ann attack with STAB. Mwahaha. Also a Naruto reference.

    Milotic
    Attract
    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Recover

Built for all around special prowess, not to mention its good physical defense. Attract was thrown in as an annoyer.

    Salamence
    Dragon Dance
    Aerial Ace
    Earthquake
    Flamethrower

Built to decimate whatever the enemy's got left, and I threw in Flamethrower to take down any overzealous Ice types.

Yes, I know, I'm an avid Serebii visitor. So sue me. It works. I think I have a fairly balanced strategic team. Bring on the criticism!!

My team is in my sig. My Pokemon Info Card needs to be updated too. On the card it decribes them when they all were on level 45, but right now they are all on level 50 and know new attacks.

Baton Passers use buff skills like Agility and Swords Dance and then use Baton Pass to pass the boost effects to another Pokemon. Hazers obviously make great use of Haze, which guards against status effects. I don't remember exactly what Phazers are, but I don't think they're much different from Hazers.

I need a suggestion for another pokemon in my team. This one is for battle against other people.

    Salamance@Leftovers
    Dragon Dance
    Earthquake
    Flamethrower
    Hidden Power(flying)

    Tyranitar@leftovers
    Crunch
    Focus Punch
    Substitute
    Thunderbolt

    Snorlax@leftovers
    Body Slam
    Rest
    Shadow Ball
    Sleep Talk

    Aerodactyl@Choice Band
    Double-Edge
    Earthquake
    Hidden Power(flying)
    Rock Slide

    Milotic@leftovers
    Hypnosis
    Ice Beam
    Recover
    Surf

So any move suggestions another Pokemon or replacement pokemon would help a lot. :)
