Yay! My 00ber team of pure ownage is finally complete!!!

This is in my Ruby. Nothing about these guys was hacked...

SPECIAL SWEEPER & HEADLINER:
Shiny Latias (DESTRUCTA)
-Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)/Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
-Item: Soul Dew
-Attacks: Dragon Claw, Calm Mind, Recover, Thunderbolt/Safeguard/Ice Beam
-Trait: Levitate

You don't need to state whether a Poke is shiny or not since it does not change anything. Horrible nature, but nothing you can do about that. CM over Psychic since DC has no immunities. You can also go with Safeguard or IB, depending on what role you want Latias to play.

TANK 1:
Skarmory (METATRON)
- Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
-Item: Leftovers
-Attacks: Substitute, Whirlwind, Spikes, Rest
-Trait: Sturdy

Careful Nature does nothing to help Skarmory. It will still be KO'ed just as easily from its weaknesses. Too many trainers use natures to try to cover weaknesses. That is incorrect and seldom works. You are better off accentuating their positives. In this case, increasing Skarmory's already high Def. Substitute is also VERY valuable on Skarmory. Come in against a physical attacker and then Sub on the switch. This also allows you to escape from Maggie (Magneton).

PHYSICAL SWEEPER:
Marowak (BONEZ0R)
-Jolly Nature
-Item: Thick Club
-Attacks: Bonemerang, Double-Edge, Rock Slide, Brick Break
-Trait: Rock Head

A Marowak.

DEVIOUS S.O.B
Shiny Articuno (COLDHART)
-Naive Nature
-Item: Leftovers/Shell Bell/Something besides Chesto
-Attacks: Sleep Talk/Protect/Toxic, Roar/Haze/Substitute, Ice Beam, Rest
-Trait: Pressure

The crappy Legendary nature strikes again! Special Defense is Articuno's strongest stat. Also don't use the horrible noobish MR/SC combo, especially since Articuno learns so many better moves. It can stall, it can abuse its Pressure trait. You already have WW on Skarmory, but switching to this thing and Roaring just adds more damage to your opponent. It is cheap having Legendaries on your team (let alone two), but it is your team.

MIXED SWEEPER
Charizard (DRAKOS)
-Hardy Nature
-Item: Salac Berry
-Attacks: Flamethrower, EQ, Aerial Ace, Dragon Claw
-Trait: Blaze

Meh, Charizard isn't what it used to be. First off it suffers for being a Fire type (not to mention the added weaknesses that Flying provides). It is also outclassed in every way by Salamence, Dragonite, Swampert, Metagross, Tyranitar, Flygon, Gyarados, Aerodactyl, and many others.

TANK 2
Dusclops (EVIL EYE)
-Careful Nature
-Item: Sitrus Berry
-Attacks: Shadow Ball, Focus Punch/Seismic Toss, Will-O-Wisp, Rest/Pain Split
-Trait: Pressure

WOW works very well with Dusclops. I would use FP or ST to get some consistent damage in when SB won't work (Normal-types). Rest, especially if you have Haze on Articuno, or change Sitrus to Chesto. Pain Split is a good alternative. Dusclops destroys Blissey, remember that.

All are at Lv100. Rate & fix if nessecary...
Overall, not a bad team. A few unlucky natures and a bad choice in Charizard.

Hello^^ I just started over on fire red and thinking about my team- right now im not sure about moves but if you have suggestions that would be nice^^.
Butterfree
Venasaur
Tentactruel
Pidgeot
Raichu
Chansey

For a start, I am VERY proud of this Latias and the fact it's shiny. And I used Psychic because both her special stats are already really high, plus with Soul Dew she doesn't really need CM.

TANK 1:
Skarmory (METATRON)
- Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
-Item: Leftovers
-Attacks: Substitute, Whirlwind, Spikes, Rest
-Trait: Sturdy

Careful Nature does nothing to help Skarmory. It will still be KO'ed just as easily from its weaknesses. Too many trainers use natures to try to cover weaknesses. That is incorrect and seldom works. I really don't wanna breed another Skarmory but I'll try. Also I'll try teaching Substitute. It's just that if Skarmory is my last poke he needs something to do damage with and that's why SW is there
PHYSICAL SWEEPER:
Marowak (BONEZ0R)
-Jolly Nature
-Item: Thick Club
-Attacks: Bonemerang, Double-Edge, Rock Slide, Brick Break
-Trait: Rock Head

A Marowak.

Hey, he did better than Aerodactyl in the test runs. For one thing, better defenses, and with Thick Club his Atk is over 430. Now that's one H£11 of an Atk.

DEVIOUS S.O.B
Shiny Articuno (COLDHART)
-Naive Nature
-Item: Leftovers/Shell Bell/Something besides Chesto
-Attacks: Sleep Talk/Protect/Toxic, Roar/Haze/Substitute, Ice Beam, Rest
-Trait: Pressure

Fair enough. I don't wanna seem like a n00b. I thought it was pretty funny at the Battle tower though. (God it's gonna take me AGES to find another shiny...)

MIXED SWEEPER
Charizard (DRAKOS)
-Hardy Nature
-Item: Salac Berry
-Attacks: Flamethrower, EQ, Aerial Ace, Dragon Claw
-Trait: Blaze

Meh, Charizard isn't what it used to be. First off it suffers for being a Fire type (not to mention the added weaknesses that Flying provides). It is also outclassed in every way by Salamence, Dragonite, Swampert, Metagross, Tyranitar, Flygon, Gyarados, Aerodactyl, and many others.

Yeah, maybe Salamence would make a better Mixed Sweeper.

TANK 2

-Careful Nature

-Attacks: Shadow Ball, Focus Punch/Seismic Toss, Will-O-Wisp, Rest/Pain Split

Maybe, but I just don't like WOW's accuracy. Other than that, cool.

K, thanks for the advice.

A few more things:

Latias: I am sure you are proud of a shiny Poke, but it means little when it comes to movesets. Also, CM allows DC to hit VERY hard, making Psychic useless since a CM'd DC that has no resistances (unlike Psychic) can cause some serious damage.

Skarmory: Spikes/Whirlwind can do 25% damage on all Pokes that don't fly/levitate, assuming you have used Spikes three times. If Skarmory is your last Poke and your opponent has one of those then you deserve to lose. It also means that there is a flaw in your strategy.

Marowak: I was merely stating it was a standard Marowak.

Articuno: The MR/SC combo works fine against the crappy AI, but fails miserably against another person. If all you ever battle against is the AI then you can feel free to keep it. Not good strategy, but doable.

Charizard: I wouldn't choose Salamence if you insist on using Latias. Adding a 4x weak to Ice wouldn't be a good idea.

Ok, I want to know if this will be a good moveset for Vigoroth. I'm not going to get Slaking because I don't like the ability.

Here is the moveset.

Vigoroth (M)

Slash
Slack Off
Hyper Beam
Yawn

No, that is not a good moveset. Slack Off is the only worthwhile move there, and even that isn't a must. There are two versions of Vigoroth. The first looks like this:

Vigoroth @ Salac Berry
- Endure
- Flail
- Reversal
- Shadow Ball

With its good speed and the ability to learn both Flail AND Reversal, this can be a menace. Endure to get down to 1 HP, and then sweep. SB is for Ghosts that you could not otherwise hit.

If you don't like the whole 1 HP thing, here is an alternative:

Vigoroth @ Leftovers/Lum Berry
- Body Slam/Return
- Bulk Up
- Earthquake/Shadow Ball
- Earthquake/Shadow Ball/Slack Off

This version has a few options. BS gives you a chance at paralysis, but Return hits harder. You can include both EQ and SB, or you can choose one and include SO, to replenish HP lost while you BU.

I originally had a best Pokemon team in Sapphire that I planned from the very beginning. I even traded in five of those Pokemon as eggs, so the team was with me from the very beginning. But recently, certain circumstances have caused me to add two more Pokemon to those ranks. So now I have eight best Pokemon that I keep switching and stuff for teams...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:t026: Apple the Raichu
Gender: Male
Level: 42
Nature: Adamant :(
Ability: Static
Attacks:
Thunderbolt
Iron Tail
Sweet Kiss
Charm
Notes: At some point I have to teach him Brick Break to replace Iron Tail, but I haven't gotten around to that lately... Anyways, he knows Charm and Sweet Kiss because I got him as an egg, and Pichu learns those moves.
:t382: Orca the Kyogre
Gender: none
Level: 45
Nature: Sassy
Ability: Drizzle
Attacks:
Body Slam
Calm Mind
Ice Beam
Hydro Pump
Notes: The above moveset is exactly what it had when I captured it... As you can probably tell, Kyogre was not meant to be one of my best Pokemon in the first place... I just happened to capture it and thought it would be good in a tough spot.
:t260: Failou the Swampert
Gender: Male
Level: 44
Nature: Quiet
Ability: Torrent
Attacks:
Muddy Water
Mud Shot
Take Down
Surf
Notes: Since I only have seven badges, I have not obtained the Earthquake TM... And I can't think of anything to replace Muddy Water with... umm... Protect? Ice Beam? ... And, it's pretty obvious that Failou was my first Pokemon.
:t354: Deatheater the Banette
Gender: Male
Level: 41
Nature: Calm (go figure...)
Ability: Insomnia
Attacks:
Shadow Ball
Faint Attack
Curse
Will-O-Wisp
Notes: I like it when Deatheater uses Curse on a trainer's last Pokemon and there's nothing he/she can do about it. Anyways, since its father knew Shadow Ball and I got him from an egg, Deatheater knew Shadow Ball all his life...
:t359: Rakurusou the Absol
Gender: Female
Level: 42
Nature: Timid
Ability: Pressure
Attacks:
Bite
Swords Dance
Future Sight
Slash
Notes: Ohh, how I wish Absol could learn Crunch... Anyways, Absol was not one of my original best Pokemon. Rakurusou was left in the Daycare for a long time while I was trying to breed her for a Coolness Contest Pokemon. That took FOREVER, but Rakurusou gained 20 or so levels in the process. So then she was level 41 or something, and after I used her in the gym battle with Liza and Tate, I saw her as worthy of being a best Pokemon.
:t308: Gracie the Medicham
Gender: Female
Level: 40
Nature: Relaxed
Ability: Pure Power
Attacks:
Hi Jump Kick
Calm Mind
Confusion
Mind Reader
Notes: The above is a great contest moveset, by the way--another Meditite I have is the case. Anyways, I gave Gracie her nickname before I saw Grace in the anime... weird, huh?
:t372: Sora the Shelgon
Gender: Female
Level: 41
Nature: Modest
Ability: Rock Head
Attacks:
Dragonbreath
Headbutt
Cut
Protect
Notes: Currently I'm trying to win enough game coins to get TM's for Flamethrower, etc. But unfortunately, the slots are harder in R/S than in FR/LG... If you think Sora's moveset is bad now, you should have seen the olden days when Sora knew Ember instead of Dragonbreath... Gee, that was frustrating...
:t315: Omar the Roselia
Gender: Male
Level: 41
Nature: Modest
Ability: Natural Cure
Attacks:
Magical Leaf
Grasswhistle
Poison Sting
Leech Seed
Notes: Where in the world is that darned Sludge Bomb TM?!? Oh well, Omar has lower Attack power because of his nature, so what's the use... But at least that makes him my prime special sweeper. (His Magical Leaf can KO Archie's Sharpedo in one hit, and he's level... 43?)
Blastoise lv. 97
Lv 58 Rampage/Nidoking (Male)
Lv 58 Blaze/Arcanine (Male)
Lv 58 Hydro/Vaporeon (Male)
Lv 58 Dragoon/Dragonite (Male)
My Team
I have a Blaziken on Lv 60, a Gardevoir on Lv 58, a Gyarados on Lv 58, a Flygon on Lv 58, a Ludicolo on Lv 58, and a Metagross on Lv 59...... Beat That......
My Sapphire team looks something like this:
Eamonn - Typhlosion (Modest)
Link - Jolteon (Bashful)
Leo - Suicune (Adamnet)
Chris - Rayquaza (Careful)
Buddy - Espeon (Sassy)
X - Lugia (Bashful)
All of them are at level 100, but I've got really sucky movesets for them all, so any suggestions would be much appreciated.
The only half-decent one I've been suggested is Flamethrower, Sunny Day, Earthquake, Thunderpunch for my Typhlosion, and I'm not even sure if that's any good.
