My short journey/history:
Spoiler:

I haven't played yet, but here is my planned team:
Raichu
Chesnaught (Fully evolved grass starter)
Venusaur (+ Mega Stone)
Lapras (You get one for free)
Pidgeot
Lucario (You get one with its mega stone for free after a Lucario vs Lucario battle on a tower)
Should this suffice? I was most excited with the reveal of Mega Lucario.

However, even though I have planned my team, if I can get a Dragonite, Hypno or Nidoking I will use them.

I've already beaten the game with one team, but I'm raising a new team now. The theme is that no types can repeat and the Pokemon have to look somewhat masculine.

Things are coming together nicely. They're all in mid-60's now, so I'm going to take on the E4 again soon.

At the moment, my team consists of Aerodactyl, Dusknoir, Chesnaught, Lucario, Dragonite, and Espeon. Aerodactyl's the lead—I use it mostly to set up Stealth Rock. It's got good offensive stats, too, so it could defeat a couple of the opponent's Pokémon before being taken down. Dusknoir and Chesnaught are both tanks; they're able to endure a few hits and hit back even harder. Lucario is the sweeper of my team. After only one Swords Dance, it becomes impossible to stop. I used to have Scizor in its place, but decided to have it replaced as it didn't perform very well. Dragonite is the revenge-killer. Whenever any of my Pokémon gets fainted, it always switches in and finishes off the opponent's Pokémon. As for Espeon—I use Espeon as a dual-screener. It has great Speed, so it could set up Reflect and Light Screen quite efficiently. d:

looking for some help new to this game i no a little about this game
been makeing a team dont no if it good or not balance out help would be good or what to change up?
Garchomp
Aegislash
Greninja
Scizor
Charizard/Blaziken maby
Lampent/Lucario/Gengar/A grass pokemon
or Talonflame
help would be good what to keep or take out

ive kept almost the same team through the whole game

Delphox (Witcher)
Doublade (Terra Blade)
Lucario
Blaziken
Lapras (2fast)
and Pidgeot

Doublade is used primarily for retaliate, the massive damage it deals after a teammate has fainted is brilliant. Delphox is my primary fighter, with many powerful attacks to defeat opponents with. Pidgeot is my staller with Fly. Lapras is my perish song man. Blaziken and Lucario are backup mega evolution capable guys.

I'm building up my Ghost type team at the minute, and I'm wanting:

Golurk
Dusknoir
Trevenant
Drifblim
Banette
Maybe Jellicent for Surf, and Waterfall or Chandelure because one of my favourites.
