    So while wandering, I came upon a Secret Base exiting Meteor Falls on Route 115. Going inside turned out to be a chair maze that included a forced warp back to the beginning and several other spins and such. Upon getting through the second time, you can get the flag, and then battle the Base Boss.

    The first time I battled this Base Boss, my entire team succumbed to a Lv.30 Shiny Volcarona with Fire Blast (overpowered much?). This time, it was Lv.35 (they upgrade???) and I had a Lv.33 Pelipper with Surf on hand, but even that went down; my Plusle had to come out and Discharge for the win. The second Pokémon sent out? A Lv.1 Espurr. Victory. {XD}

    I don't even know what a secret base is. Explain via PM?

    No need for a PM!

    Secret Bases are areas that you are first introduced to on Route 111. Aarune gives TM94 (Secret Power) to you, then uses it himself to show you how to create a secret base. You are then given the tree he created as your own base. You can use Secret Power to carve out holes in walls, other trees like the initial one, and such to create a different base if you want. There are places all over Hoenn that serve the purpose of a Secret Base and special areas created only for that purpose. People you Streetpass with and passersby will sometimes show up in your game with Secret Bases as well, so if you come across a tree with a vine or a bigger hole in the wall than usual, it's already owned by someone. I found an Asian player with a Shiny Volcarona in one (the story I told), and another has a Shiny Venusaur in it. A flag on the AreaNav will tell you that there's a Secret Base in the area, whether yours or another to explore, and you can collect flags at them; what those do, I have no idea yet.

    Hrmm... well, so far most of the bases I've Streetpassed have been rather boring from both a battle and design perspective. However, there was one interesting base that was made up of nothing but Pokemon Dolls and was arranged in layout like a gym. That was cute.
